Seven Hills Motorcars is very proud to offer this beautiful 1960 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible
for sale.  This car looks fantastic, runs well, and drives nice.  The prices of all the 1959 and 1960 Cadillacs has skyrocketed in recent times, this is especially true for the convertibles.  This is an excellent opportunity to own a very rare and desirable classic that can be used and enjoyed at an unbeatable value.  It is in the very attractive and admired color combination of Olympic White over red and white leather.  This is the original color scheme in which the car was ordered new, verified by the codes on the trim tag, which is pictured below.

In 1960 Cadillac had been in business for 58 years and was committed to designing and producing the best automobile in the world.  1960 was the last year for the iconic big fins on the Cadillac. The styling of the 1960 Cadillac is considered is the most dramatic and sharpest. The tail lamps display a light show as the car is driven down the road at night. The 1960 Cadillac was built to impress and many enthusiasts prefer it over the more gaudy and ostentatious 1959 Cadillac.

As a side note, this Cadillac is not a dealer auction vehicle.  We hand pick each car after careful inspection.  Our cars come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did.  We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected.  Please take the time to examine each picture.  We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase.  If you have a question about the Cadillac, just give us a call.

about our dealership
Seven Hills Motorcars is Cincinnati's premier Corvette and Cadillac specialist and a licensed and registered auto dealer by the State of Ohio.  With many years of focused experience I specialize in 1957 to 1982 Corvettes and 1953 to 1976 Cadillacs.  There is no other dealership that can better meet your needs if you would like to buy, sell, or just find out more information about your Corvette or Cadillac.  This is simply a one man operation, and this is not my full time employment.  I do it because I enjoy it.  I am a collector and enthusiast and therefore look for cars that excite me.  I do not purchase at dealer auctions; each car is hand picked by me because it is special or rare to me and because I like it.

 vehicle condition

Exterior

The Olympic White exterior is in very nice driver condition.  The chrome, stainless, and other bright work is in respectable condition with no major pitting overall.  The paint has a smooth finish and a nice gloss.  There are some blemishes and touch ups around the car that were too faint to show up in the photos, but nothing that really stands out from five to ten feet away.  The car does have some rust and rust repair in the past.  The convertible top is in nice shape with no holes.  Like many vintage convertibles, the top and windows do not line up perfectly.  The power feature of the convertible top works well.  The rear window is clear with no yellowing.  The convertible top soft boot is included.  This Cadillac still retains its original hubcaps, which are in very good condition.  The tires appear to have at least 80% tread left.

Interior

The Red and White interior in this Cadillac is in decent driver condition.  The seats look good with no holes or cracking.  The chrome on the dash, door panels, and inside the car is in nice shape.  The carpet is in presentable condition and with no rips.  There is some staining on the front passenger's side, which is visible in the photos.  The door panels look in person just as then do in the photographs.  The power seat does not work.  The car retains it original radio, but it is not functional.  The vent windows open and close properly.  All of the power windows work, as does the horn, and interior light.

Mechanical

This Cadillac is in good mechanical condition.  It rides and drives well and it ready to be used, with some room left from general improvement.  There are no immediate issues with the drivability of this Cadillac.  The car starts right away every time, runs well, and idles well.  There is no smoke when starting or driving the car.  The car is smooth on the road.  The transmission shifts well throughout the power band.  The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other.  The odometer and speedometer work, but the needle sticks at about 35.  There is an audible note of an exhaust leak.  There are also some options on the car that no longer work such as the clock, water temp gauge, blower motor, misc lights, wipers, etc.  The fuel gauge moves, but I would not trust its accuracy.  There may be other troubles with the car that I have possibly overlooked so I would suggest that the buyer inspect the car in person if possible.  None of the problems I have noticed make the car unusable in its current state, but in an attempt to be totally honest I must disclose them.  Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car, especially with top down on a nice day.

Overall
Condition

This car is great looking, complete, and ready to be driven.  The 1959 and 1960 Cadillacs are highly prized and extremely collectible.  This car turns head and gets A TON of attention everywhere it goes.  It also has one of the lowest asking prices anywhere on the market for a usable '59 or '60 Cadillac convertible.  This is an excellent opportunity to purchase a very rare car.  Convertible Cadillac’s make excellent cars to drive.  One could enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than your purchase price.  We, as always, would encourage you to take the time to view the car in person if possible.  We have nothing to hide, that is why we include so many photos.

Thank you for looking and please email or call with any questions.
