Seven Hills Motorcars is very proud to offer this 1966 Cadillac
DeVille convertible
for sale.
This car is in very nice driver condition,
rides like a dream, and needs nothing at all to be enjoyed.
The classic white over dark blue color combination is dignified,
handsome, and a perfect compliment to this car. The paint has
a dazzling shine and the interior looks fabulous. This car
rolled off the assembly line during the fourth week of December in
1965 absolutely loaded with options such as automatic climate
control, power door locks, "Soft Ray" glass, AM/FM Radio, 6 way
front power seat, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, power windows,
and auto dimming headlights.
As a side note, this DeVille is not a dealer auction vehicle.
We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our cars
come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will
give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We
invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the
car inspected. Please take the time to examine each picture.
We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel
confident about your purchase. If you have a question about
the Cadillac, just give us a call.

about our dealership
Seven Hills Motorcars is
Cincinnati's premier Corvette and Cadillac specialist and a licensed
and registered auto dealer by the State of Ohio. With many
years of focused experience I specialize in 1963 to 1982 Corvettes and
1953 to 1976 Cadillacs. There is no other dealership that can
better meet your needs if you would like to buy, sell, or just find out
more information about your Corvette or Cadillac. This is simply a
one man operation, and this is not my full time employment. I do
it because I enjoy it. I am a collector and enthusiast and
therefore look for cars that excite me. I do not purchase at
dealer auctions; each car is hand picked by me because it is special or
rare to me and because I like it.

vehicle condition
Exterior
The white
exterior is in very nice driver condition.
The paint has a
fine finish and a great luster.
The body has no major dents or
dings.
The almost brand new white power convertible top is in excellent
condition with no rips or tears. It also fits well and
works smoothly with no strain or binding in the mechanism.
The convertible top boot is included. It actually fits the
car well and has not shrunken like most soft boots.
There are some
blemishes around the car that were too small to show up in the
photos, but nothing that really stands out from 10 feet away.
This Cadillac does
appear to have had some rust repair in the past. The tires
are in like new condition.
The chrome,
stainless, and other bright work is in very presentable
condition; only the front bumper is a bit cloudy.
Amazingly,
all of the glass on this car is
original and correct as all pieces predate the car's body build
date of the fourth week of December 1965; this even includes the
vent windows.
Original glass
is a good indication that the car has not been in a major
accident and never sustained significant damage.

Interior
The dark blue interior of this
DeVille is in great condition.
The seats look almost brand new with
no excessive wear, cracks, or split seams. The carpet
is like new condition as well with no holes, rips, or
stains. The door panels are in very nice condition
with no cracks and, unlike many cars of this age, they fit
very well and tight to the door. Also, the arm pads
are not cracked or split and show no evidence of repair.
The power seat clicks, but does not move. The car
still retains its original radio. It will turn on,
light up, and crackle, but does not function.
Mechanical
This car is in nice mechanical
condition. There are no issues at all with the drivability
of this Cadillac.
The car starts right away every time, runs well, and idles well.
There is no smoke when starting or driving the car.
The car drives great with a very
comfortable ride and no strange vibrations. The car is
smooth on the road and highway. The transmission shifts
well throughout the power band.
The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the
other. This car is a
great cruiser, but is obviously not perfect. It has a few
issues such as some of the options and accessories do not work,
the vent windows need a hand to close all the way, leaks, and
other miscellaneous problems that do not immediately affect the
drivability of the car.
With everything said, the combination of power from the 429ci V8
and the silky smooth ride make this Cadillac
and absolute pleasure to drive,
especially with top down on a sunny day.
Overall
Condition
