Seven Hills Motorcars is very glad to offer this 1967 Cadillac DeVille convertible
for sale.  We have this car car priced as one of the best values for 60's Cadillac convertible on the market right now.  It is in very nice driver, rides like a dream, and has a ton of potential.  The previous owner of the car stated the it was originally from California.  We purchased the car from a gentleman in Tennessee and the title we received from him showed that the Cadillac was just previously titled in California.  Please peruse all of the photos below to get a true sense of the condition of this DeVille.

This Cadillac rolled off the assembly line during the fourth week of March in 1967 loaded with options such as automatic climate control, "Soft Ray" glass, AM/FM Radio, 6 way front power seat, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, power windows, automatic climate control, and air conditioning.

As a side note, this DeVille is not a dealer auction vehicle.  We hand pick each car after careful inspection.  Our cars come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did.  We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected.  Please take the time to examine each picture.  We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase.  If you have a question about the Cadillac, just give us a call.

about our dealership
Seven Hills Motorcars is Cincinnati's premier Corvette and Cadillac specialist and a licensed and registered auto dealer with the State of Ohio.  With many years of focused experience I specialize in 1963 to 2082 Corvettes and 1953 to 1976 Cadillacs.  There is no other dealership that can better meet your needs if you would like to buy, sell, or just find out more information about your Corvette or Cadillac.  This is simply a one man operation, and this is not my full time employment.  I do it because I enjoy it.  I am a collector and enthusiast and therefore look for cars that excite me.  I do not purchase at dealer auctions; each car is hand picked by me because it is special or rare to me and because I like it.

Exterior

The exterior is in presentable driver condition.  The paint has a nice luster and fine shine.  This Cadillac basically looks in person just as it does in the photos.  There are no major spots or blemishes in the paint that have been intentionally excluded from the photos.  I have done my best to accurately and objectively photograph the car and show all of the flaws, but some are too small or cannot be picked up by the camera.  One should really view the car in person to get the best and most accurate idea of what the car really looks like.  The frame seems quite solid.  There are signs of rust repair in the body around the expected areas.  All of the windows work, with the exception of the right rear.  They are slow and sometimes need a hand, but work from the both the driver's door and their perspective individuals switches.  The convertible top is in nice shape.  It does have one small hole in the typical area where it it prone to getting pinched in the power top mechanism.  I have included a specific photo of the spot.  The power top motor will run, but the top does not operate.  It may be just low on fluid or need other repairs.  Please note that the car still has the correct convertible top glass.  It has not been replaced with a plastic window.

Amazingly, all of the glass on this car is original and correct as all pieces predate the car's body build date of the fourth week of March 1967; this even includes the vent windows.  Original glass is a good indication that the car has not been in a major accident and never sustained significant damage.

Window Date Codes

Windshield: LZ - The "L" denotes March and "Z" 1967 so the windshield was made in March of 1967.

Driver's Front: CA - The "C" denotes November and "A" 1966 so the front driver's side window was made in November of 1966.

Driver's Rear: LZ - The "L" denotes March and "Z" 1967 so the rear driver's side window was made in March of 1967.

Driver's Vent: XZ - The "X" denotes February and "Z" 1967 so the driver's side vent window was made in February of 1967.

Passenger's Front: XZ - The "X" denotes February and "Z" 1967 so the front passenger's side window was made in February of 1967.

Passenger's Rear: YA - The "Y" denotes October and "A" 1966 so the rear passenger's side window was made in October of 1966.

Passenger's Vent: NZ - The "N" denotes January and "Z" 1967 so the passenger's side vent window was made in January of 1967.

Interior

The interior in this Cadillac is in good condition.  The seats are in fine shape and not excessively worn.  There is one blemish in the material right in front of the driver's side seat back release.  The carpet looks great no stains, holes, or rips.  The door panels are in relatively nice nice shape and the arm pads are not all cracked up, which is a very common problem for this era Cadillac.  The power seat runs and works, but not in all directions.  The original radio turns on and lights up, but does not play sound.

Mechanical

This car is in nice mechanical condition.  The Cadillac V8 starts right away every time, runs well, and idles well.  There is no smoke when starting or driving the car.  The car drives great with a very comfortable ride and no strange vibrations.  The car is smooth on the road.  The transmission shifts well throughout the power band.  The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other.  The fuel gauge, speedometer, horn, and wipers all work.  The exterior lights work, the turn signals work, and even the indicators in the dash work.  I have taken this car on short outings around town; I have not had the car on the highway due to the poor weather we have experienced lately.  With all of that said it could stand some improvements all around.  It has a few issues such as some of the options and accessories do not work, the blower, some lights, and other troubles with the car that I have possibly overlooked so I would suggest that any perspective buyer inspect the car in person if possible.  The a/c compressor is not currently mounted, but is included with the car.  None of the problems that I noticed immediately affect the drivability of the car.  With everything said, the combination of power from the 429ci V8 and the silky smooth ride make this Cadillac and absolute pleasure to drive, especially with top down on a sunny day.

Overall
Condition

This Cadillac is in great driver condition overall.  It gets A TON of attention going down the road.  Convertible Cadillac’s are highly collectible and make excellent cars to drive.  Convertible classic cars, especially Cadillac's have quickly appreciated over the past several years and make excellent investments.  One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than your purchase price.  As always, any potential buyer is encouraged to take the time to view the car in person or have it professionally inspected.  We have nothing to hide, that is why we include so many photos.  If there is anything unclear or if you have any questions please feel free email or call.

Thank you for looking and please email or call with any questions.
