The exterior is in excellent
driver condition. As
one can see in the photos
the paint has dazzling gloss, deep
shine, and nice finish. The body is straight with no
notable dents, wrinkles, or dings.

The power top works with no binding in the mechanism and the top

cylinders. The top does have some wear and shows signs of
age, but has a nice bright color with no stains and looks pretty
good for the most part.
A red soft top
boot is included with the car. It is not shrunken and
actually fits quite well.
The tires are
almost brand new and appear to have about 95% tread left.

is a good indication that the car has not been in a major
accident and never sustained significant damage.

The seats are in nice shape and
appear to be have been recovered recently. They have no
rips, split seams, or signs of excessive wear, this includes the
rear seat. There is some cracking on top of the seat frame
trim visible in the photos. The carpet looks good overall
with no major stains, tears, or holes, but does not fit
perfectly in the area near the driver's kick panel. This
is visible in the photos, but as you can see not very
noticeable. The door panels are in excellent shape and unlike
many cars of this age, they fit very well and tight to the door.
The arm pads on the door panels are not cracked or split, which
is a very common problem on this era Cadillac, especially the
convertibles. The power seat runs and works in most
directions. The dash looks good with no cracks or sun
damage. The original AM radio still works in addition to
the aftermarket stereo installed under the dash. The
installation of the new radio is not obtrusive and most
importantly the stock dash was not cut up or modified for the
installation. This car has been smoked in and has no aroma
of cigarette smoke.
This car seems to be is in good
mechanical condition. There are no immediate issues with
the drivability of this Cadillac that I am aware of.
The car has seen limited use since the engine and transmission
were rebuilt. The car starts right away every time, runs
well, and idles well. There is no smoke when starting or
driving the car.
The car is a nice driver; it is
smooth on the road and at highway speeds. The transmission
shifts well throughout the power band.

The blower for the heater works
and even blows out of the correct vents for heat on the floor
and defrost on the windshield. Even the power antenna
works. The left front turn signal does not work.
All of the
windows work from the the driver's door, but the stop for the
driver's window needs some adjustment. The windows do not
work from each of their perspective window switches meaning that
the window lock switch may need replacement.
Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to
