Seven Hills Motorcars is extremely proud to offer this rare 1976
Cadillac Eldorado convertible
for sale. This car has no problems, needs nothing, and is
essentially "turn key" and ready for its new owner. The
Cadillac comes with documentation and ownership history back to new.
According to the most previous owner, this car was not sold new by
the dealership in Pennsylvania until 1980. It was used as a
demo and dealer car until then when it was purchased by its first
registered owner Harvey Brodsky. Mr. Brodsky owned the car for
28 years when he sold it to a gentleman in Cleveland, OH. He
owned the car until earlier this year when I purchased it from him.
Copies of the original Ohio title from 1980 are pictured below and
included with the car.
Cadillac's marketing
department called the 1976 Eldorado, "The last of a magnificent
Breed," with the distinction of being the final American
convertible of its era. The high build costs of creating these
large specialized convertibles was becoming a large financial drain
on Cadillac. Weighing in at a staggering 5,153 pounds and
sporting a 500 cubic inch engine on its massive 224.1 inch frame, it
was one of the largest production cars ever offered.
As a side note, this Eldorado is not a dealer auction vehicle.
We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our cars
come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will
give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We
invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the
car inspected. Please take the time to examine each picture.
We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel
confident about your purchase. If you have a question about
the Cadillac, just give us a call.

about our dealership
Seven Hills Motorcars is
Cincinnati's premier Corvette and Cadillac specialist. We
are a licensed and registered auto dealer by the State of Ohio.
With many years of focused experience I specialize in 1963 to 2004
Corvettes and 1953 to 1976 Cadillacs. There is no other dealership
that can better meet your needs if you would like to buy, sell, or just
find out more information about your Corvette or Cadillac. This is
simply a one man operation, and this is not my full time employment.
I do it because I enjoy it. I am a collector and enthusiast and
therefore look for cars that excite me. I do not purchase at
dealer auctions; each car is hand picked by me because it is special or
rare to me and because I like it.

vehicle condition
Exterior
The
Cotillion White exterior paint is in great condition.
The car enjoyed a full professional new paint job in
September of last year and as one can see from the photos, it
looks gorgeous now. The finish has suburb gloss and a
smooth glass-like finish. The fiberglass fillers between
the bumper and body are notoriously bad on this era of Cadillac,
luckily this car received all new fillers when the car was
painted.
There are no major
scratches, scrapes, or blemishes in the paint that have been
excluded from the photos. There are some spots in the
paint that around the car were too small to show in in photos,
but nothing that is really noticeable from 5 feet away.
The body has no real dents or dings and is very straight.
The chrome, stainless, and other bright work on the car is in
very nice shape with no rust or notable pitting. The
convertible top works well and is in nice shape for being
original. Please note that the car still has the correct
convertible top glass with defroster. It has not been
replaced with a cheaper plastic window.
This car looks
just as good in person as it does in the photos.

November and "I" 1975 so the windshield was made in November of
1975.

denotes November and "I" 1975 so the front driver's side window
was made in November of 1975.
Driver's Rear:
YI -
The "Y" denotes December and "I" 1975 so the rear driver's side
window was made in December of 1975.
Passenger's Front: VI - The "V"
denotes October and "I" 1975 so the front passenger's side
window was made in October of 1975.
Passenger's Rear: YI - The "Y"
denotes December and "I" 1975 so the rear passenger's side
window was made in December of 1975.
All of the glass on this car is
original and correct as all pieces predate the car's body build
date of January 1976. Original glass is a great indication that
this car has no major accident history.
Interior
The Firethorn Red interior of the
Cadillac is in very nice condition for being original.
The seats look in person just as they
do in the photos. They do have some cracking, but do
not show excessive wear or abuse. Please note that
these are the original seat covers, not some cheap after
market replacement. The carpet is in excellent
condition throughout the car as well with no holes or
stains. The dash is not split or sun faded at all.
Vintage
convertible interiors are not known to
wear well and the excellent condition of this original
interior
is a testament
to the meticulous care this car has received throughout it's
life. Even very detailed items such as the power seat
back releases that operate when a door is opened are
functional on this car.
Mechanical
This car is in terrific mechanical
condition. There are no issues at all with the drivability
of this Cadillac.
The car starts right away every time, runs well, and idles well.
There is no smoke when starting or driving the car.
The car drives great with no
strange noises or vibrations. The car is smooth on the
road and highway. The transmission shifts well throughout
the power band. The driveline was recently serviced with a
transmission flush
and brand new front drive axles.
The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the
other. All of the interior and exterior lights work, the horn
works, the power door locks, even the a/c blows cold.
The only items on the car that do not work are the cruise
control and the power antenna.
Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to
drive this car, especially with top down on a nice day.
Overall
Condition
This Cadillac is in wonderful condition. The
pictures reflect how the car really looks in person.
Convertible Cadillac’s are highly collectible and make excellent
cars to drive. 1976 was a very special year for Cadillac
as it was the last convertible of the era and the bicentennial
year.
One could enjoy this vehicle for several
years and sell it for more than your purchase price.
You can fit your entire family in
the vehicle to take them out for the day or evening.
We, as always, would encourage you
to take the time to view the car in person if possible. We
have nothing to hide, that is why we include so many photos.
If there is anything unclear or if you have any questions or
concerns please email or call.
