in nice driver condition and priced to sell. This is a factory 4
speed black over black true Z28, that has been treated to some
tasteful performance upgrades under the hood including a new 383
crate engine with under 1000 miles according to the previous owner. Needless
to say this Z28 really moves down the road. This Z28 has straight lines and the interior is in
excellent original condition.
It looks good, runs awesome, and is fun to drive, especially rowing
through the gears on a nice sunny day. This is an excellent
opportunity to own a classic Z28 that is ready to be used and
enjoyed at an unbeatable value. One could easily buy this car now
and sell it for more than the purchase price in years to come. This
Z28 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of
Black over Black vinyl interior. This is the correct and original
color combination verified by the trim tag pictured below. Not often do you get the
opportunity to purchase a true black over black factory 4 speed Z28.
The low original mileage is verified not only by the condition of
the car but also the clear Ohio title pictured below. Please peruse
all of the photos and video below to get a true sense of this

Besides the Camaro outselling the Ford Mustang (198,755 to 161,654)
for the 1st time, the biggest news in the Automotive industry in
1977 was the return of the Z28 Camaro. No longer just an engine RPO,
the Z28 was a specific model, with emphasis on the suspension and
appearance. The Z28's 350 V8 engine made 185 hp, exhaling through
dual exhaust resonators and it came mated to the close ratio M21.
Suspension included: front & rear swaybars, special springs, special
shocks and faster steering. In the appearance department the Z got
blacked out grills, rear panel and rocker panel, dual sport mirrors,
front & rear spoilers, body colored 15" 5 spoke wheels, and body
colored bumpers. In addition to this, the car got bold accenting
graphics, decals and emblems.
exterior is in decent driver quality condition. As one can see in
the photos, the paint has a nice gloss, good shine, and smooth
finish. Often many Camaro's will have particularly chipped up
front ends, this car does not, both bumpers are in nice
condition. There are no major imperfections that have been
intentionally excluded from the photos. There may be some small
blemishes that were too faint to show up in photos, but nothing
that is really noticeable from about five or ten feet away.
There are some blemishes on the front fenders, lower rear
quaters, and the top that are visible in the photos. The car
basically looks in person as it does in the photos with some age
on the paintjob, but we would recommend any perspective buyer
look at the car in person if possible to get the best sense of
that it truly looks like. The tires are sized 225/70/15 and the factory rally wheels are in
excellent shape and look terrific. All of the weather stripping is in
great usable condition. The trunk is solid and complete and nicely
detailed with, spare tire and jack.
The interior of this Z28 looks
splendid and is in brilliant condition for being original. The seat covers have no rips or tears and show no
signs of excessive wear and look excellent. The original
dash pad is in great shape with no cracks and is not faded
or warped from the sun. A Kenwood digital cassette player
was professionally installed in the past and sounds great with new 6x9
speakers mounted in the rear deck factory position. Most
importantly, the original dash was not altered or cut on in
any way for the aftermarket radio installation. The carpet is
good condition with no major stains, rips, or holes. All of
interior lights and gauges work as they should(outside of
the fuel gauge which does not read accurately and the clock), so does
the blower motor for heater, and the wipers work as well. The
door panels look great with no cracks or splits, and both
door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner and package tray
are both in great condition with no sagging or warping. This
car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.
Camaro interiors are not known to wear well and the great
condition of this interior is a testament to the care this
car has received throughout its life.
This Z28 is in
excellent fully restored mechanical condition and all of the
accessories work. Much care and resources have gone into
rebuilding this drive line and all mechanicals seem to be in
condition. A new 383 crate engine was installed, which has under 1000
miles per the previous owner. He said the engine
performance upgrades include the following: New proheader
performance aluminum heads, Edelbrock aluminum air-gap intake,
MSD Billet distributor and 6AL ignition, Holley 670 Street
avenger carb., jet-hot coated Hedman headers, Newer 2.5" dual
exhaust, finned aluminum valve covers, and a new aluminum
radiator have all been added, etc. etc. The original Borg Warner
super t-10 4-speed transmission has a new zoom street/strip
clutch with factory 3.73 positraction. Several suspension pieces were
also upgraded on this Z28 including: Energy suspension
polyurethane bushings and body mounts, new end links, new sway
bar mounts, new shocks, etc. This Z28 is an exceptional driver
that feels great on the road and highway speeds. There is no
smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away
every time, idles well, and runs well. The car shifts well
and the clutch feels good. The brakes do not pull and the car stops as
it should. The engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can
see from the photos. Not enough can be said as to how much of a
pleasure it is to drive this car, especially with the 4-speed
transmission on a beautiful day.
Overall, this 1977 Z28 is in great
driver condition. It is a great value and we have it
priced to sell. It would be impossible to build this car
as it sits today for anywhere near our asking price.
This car turns heads and gets tons of attention wherever
it goes. The value of these cars has gone up
exponentially in recent years. They are all solid
investments for a collector or the average enthusiast.
Cars like this are the Barrett Jackson stars of the
future. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several
years and sell it for more than the purchase price with
