vehicle description

Seven Hills Motorcars is proud to offer this gorgeous 1980 Camaro that is in very nice driver condition and priced to sell. This Camaro features an excellent running 350 crate engine, an incredible professional audiophile sound system, 4 Speed transmission, T-tops, and a nice interior. It looks good, runs awesome, and is a blast to drive, especially on a nice day with the t-tops removed rowing through the gears. This is an excellent opportunity to own a classic Camaro that is ready to be used and enjoyed at an unbeatable value. One could easily buy this car now and sell it for more than the purchase price in years to come with little work. This Camaro is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Bright Yellow over Black vinyl interior. Bright Yellow is a very low production color in 1980 with only 3,174 Camaro's painted in this rare beautiful color. Please peruse all of the photos and video below to get a true sense of this Camaro.

As a side note, this Camaro is not a dealer auction vehicle.  We hand pick each car after careful inspection.  Our classics come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did.  We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected.  Please take the time to scrutinize each picture.  We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase.  If you have a question about the Camaro, just give us a call.

condition

Exterior

The Yellow and White exterior is in good driver condition. This Camaro basically looks in person as it does in the photos. As one can see in the photos, the paint has a nice gloss, beautiful shine, and smooth finish. Often many Camaro's will have particularly chipped up front ends, this car does not, both bumpers are in good condition with no flaking or faded paint. We have taken specific photos of the quarters, rockers, underside, and other areas most prone to rust. There are no major imperfections that have been intentionally excluded from the photos. There are some small imperfections around the car that were too faint to show up in photos, but nothing that is really noticeable from about ten feet away. The car does have some rust and evidence of rust repair in the past. The aftermarket fiberglass hood looks good on the car, but as one can see from the photos the fit is not perfect around the fenders and wipers. The tires are like new sized 235/60/15 and the American Racing wheels show no signs of curb rash and shine nicely. All weather stripping and window sweeps are in good usable condition. The T-Tops are in good shape and do not rattle when driving down the road. The trunk is customized and contains a lot of high quality audio equipment such as two 10" subwoofers and several power amps.

Interior

The black standard vinyl interior of this Camaro looks great. The seat covers are in awesome shape with no excessive wear, rips or stains. The carpet is in good condition with no major stains, rips, or holes. All interior lights and gauges work as they should outside of the clock. The custom door panels look great with no cracks or splits, and both door pulls are solid and in tact. A set of high-end component speakers have been added to each door panel and sound amazing. The dash is in good shape with only one minor 2" crack in the vinyl portion, which is hardly noticeable, and has no fading, warping or sun damage. The headliner and package tray are both in good condition. The original am/fm Stereo is still in the uncut Dash and is fully functional. A 6 disk cd player has been added and is mounted in the glove box. A cd remote sensor has been installed inside the shifter plate to work with the provided remote control. Stereo controls and EQ have been installed inside the console box, along with the power window switches, for the driver to control this awesome stereo system. The previous owner of this Camaro owns a custom audio installation shop and this car was one of his demonstration cars. Thousands of dollars have gone into this sound system and with one listen it's very easy to realize that. All interior plastics look very nice, and have great factory color, texture, and grain pattern. This car has not been smoked in; there is no smoke aroma of cigarettes whatsoever.

Mechanical

This Camaro is in great mechanical condition; the way this car runs and drives are some of its strongest attributes. The 350 crate engine was installed at a cost of $2257 (receipt included and pictured below) and still runs great. This Camaro is an exceptional driver that feels great on the road. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs excellent. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. The engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. The speedometer, odometer, tachometer, oil pressure, fuel, and battery gauges all work as they should. Several bolt-ons were added to increase performance such as headers, Holley street avenger carb., comp cam(cam card included), comp lifters, HEI distributor, Edelbrock intake, Chrome alternator, etc. True dual exhaust was also added with Flowmaster 40 mufflers and H pipe which gives this Camaro a healthy exhaust note. Receipts for most of the bolt-ons and custom exhaust is included and runs over $2700. New poly bushings, end links, sway bars and mounts, and body bushing mounts were also installed. The new suspension receipt is included and runs over $1400 just for the parts. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car especially on a nice day with the t-tops out rowing through the gears.

Overall Condition

Overall, this 1980 Camaro is in awesome driver condition. It is a great value and priced to sell. This car turns heads and gets tons of attention wherever it goes. The value of these cars has gone up exponentially in recent years. They are all solid investments for a collector or the average enthusiast. Cars like this are the Barrett Jackson and Mecum stars of the future. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort.

Thank you for looking and please do not hesitate to email or call with any questions.

vehicle video

For a ten minute video of the car starting, running, a walk around, underside, and function check please visit:
http://youtu.be/wmi5ihPAATo .

Also, we have received some questions about some perceived smoke observed in the video with the car running. Please note that this is not burning oil, a blown head gasket, or smoke from the engine. What one may observe as smoke from the exhaust with the car running is really just steam/condensation which is a normal byproduct of combustion when an engine is started cold. The same effect can be seen in our other videos from the same time such as this vehicle: http://youtu.be/Wca6JTOkt1Y .
