Seven Hills Motorcars
is Cincinnati's premier Corvette specialist and a licensed
and registered auto dealer by the State of Ohio. With
many years of focused experience I specialize in 1957 to 1982
Corvettes. There is no other dealership that can better
meet your needs if you would like to buy, sell, or just find out
more information about your Corvette. This is simply a one
man operation, and this is not my full time employment. I
do it because I enjoy it. I am a collector and enthusiast
and therefore look for cars that excite me. I do not
purchase at dealer auctions; each car is hand picked by me
because it is special or rare to me and because I like it.

Coupe for sale. This Corvette is an awesome driver and we have

looks great, runs great, and is an absolute blast to drive,
especially with the extra power from the big block. It is
blisteringly fast. This is an excellent opportunity to own a
very desirable Corvette at an unbeatable value. One could
easily buy this car now and sell it for more than the purchase price
with minimal work and effort. It gets a ton of attention going
down the road.
I cannot even count the number of compliments I have received while
driving this Corvette.
This is one of the best values for any "chrome bumper" big block
Corvette on the market right now.
Please peruse all of the photos below to get a true sense of how
nice this Corvette really is.
As a side note, this Corvette is not a dealer auction vehicle.
Our Corvettes come from owners who expect their cars to go to
someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as
they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in
person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to
scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the
greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase.
If you have a question about the Corvette, just give us a call.
The Tuxedo Black
is in nice driver condition. As one can see in the photos
the finish has nice gloss, deep
shine, and smooth finish.
The chrome bumpers
and other bight work on the car show well.
There are no major imperfections that have been intentionally
excluded from the photos. There are some small blemishes
that were too faint to show up in photos, but nothing that is
really stands out from about five or ten feet away.
paintjob has some age and blemishes, which is evident in the
photos. I have done my best to accurately and objectively
photograph the car and show the flaws, but some are too small or
cannot be picked up by the camera. One should really view
the car in person to get the best and most accurate idea of what
the car really looks like.
For the most part
however, the car looks in person as it does in the photos.
The car does
have some rust underneath. The fit of the hood is not
perfect, which is visible in the photos. The wheels are in
good condition with a nice finish. The tires are literally
brand new with less than 100 miles on them.
Window Date Codes
Please note that all of the side glass on this car, the "Astro
Ventilation" door glass and even the pop out rear window, is
date coded and original as each piece predates the car's body
build date of March 1, 1968 (H01). Original glass is a good
indication that this car has had no major accident history
and never sustained significant damage.

The black interior of the Corvette is also
in fantastic condition. The
seats look almost brand new with no rips, splits seams, or signs
of excessive wear.
They are not worn
in the typical areas such as where the driver gets in and out.
The carpet is also in great
condition with no stains, rips,
This includes the rear carpet,
which is often neglected.
The dash and
console are in great condition with no cracks, fading, or sun
damage. The door panels are in nice condition with no wear
on the arm pads. This car has
not been smoked in; there are no burn marks or aroma whatsoever.
This car seems to
be in good mechanical condition.
It is an exceptional driver that
feels great on the road.
The car starts
right away every time, idles well, runs well. There is no
smoke when starting or driving the car.
The previous owner said
that he had the engine completely rebuilt, along with a lot of
other work, within the past year. The engine is a 454,
however in appearance it is indistinguishable from the 427,
while still benefiting form a few extra cubic inches. That
is why the "427" emblem was left on the hood as it also give the
car a more correct look.
shifts well throughout the power band.
do not pull to one side or the other. Please note that
like any Corvette without power brakes, the pedal takes more
pressure than what most people are used to. Also, the
engine compartment is clean and nicely detailed as one can see
in the photos. This
Corvette is extremely fast with a ton of power and not for the
faint of heart.
The horn works as
do the headlights, headlight override vacuum switch, all gauges
(with the obvious exception of the clock), lights, and wipers.
The manual vent
controls, blower motor, radio, and, like almost all Corvettes
from 1968-71, the fiber optics are not functional plus it has a
slight tick from the headers.
The tach itself
works, but the tach cable is not currently connected. When
the previous owner installed the complete high end MSD ignition
system it came with a new aluminum distributor. Corvettes
are different from other Chevrolet applications in that the
tachometer is driven from a cable that connects to the base of
the distributor. The MSD distributor obviously does not
have a tach drive so that is why the tach is not connected.
A brand new HEI distributor with a tach drive is included with
car for the future owner. Nothing sounds like a big block
except the real thing and this car sounds absolutely awesome
with a very aggressive and healthy tone from the exhaust.
Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to
drive this car, especially with the extra power form the big
block and the t-tops out on a beautiful day.
Overall, this 1968 Corvette is in great
driver condition. It is an excellent value for a big block
and we have priced it to sell. This car turns heads and
gets ton of attention wherever it goes. In my opinion and
based on our experience the "Chrome Bumper" cars from 1968-1972
are the most collectible in the entire Corvette market right
now. The value of these cars has gone up exponentially in
recent years. They are all solid investments for a
collector. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several
years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal
