Seven Hills Motorcars
is Cincinnati's premier Corvette specialist and a licensed
and registered auto dealer by the State of Ohio. With
many years of focused experience I specialize in 1957 to 1982
Corvettes. There is no other dealership that can better
meet your needs if you would like to buy, sell, or just find out
more information about your Corvette. This is simply a one
man operation, and this is not my full time employment. I
do it because I enjoy it. I am a collector and enthusiast
and therefore look for cars that excite me. I do not
purchase at dealer auctions; each car is hand picked by me
because it is special or rare to me and because I like it.

vehicle description
Seven Hills Motorcars is very proud to offer this absolutely
beautiful 1969 Corvette Convertible
that is
priced to sell.
The car
looks good, runs great, and is a blast to drive. This is an
excellent opportunity to own a very desirable Corvette at an
unbeatable value.
The previous owner was a Corvette enthusiast who purchased this car
in 1997 from a gentleman in Florida. While this car is not
numbers matching, the previous owner recently replaced the engine
with a brand new crate motor he purchased directly from Chevrolet
through the local dealership. This is not some mystery block
that could be out of a truck with 300,000 miles, which you may find
in some NOM Corvettes. The new crate motor in the car has less
than 1,000 miles of use. I would not hesitate to hop in this
car and take a road trip.
This Corvette
gets a ton of attention going down the road, especially with the
side pipes.
I cannot even count the number of compliments I have received while
driving this car. Please peruse all of the photos below to get
a true sense of how original and nice this Corvette really is.
As a side note, this Corvette is not a dealer auction vehicle.
Our Corvettes come from owners who expect their cars to go to
someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as
they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in
person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to
scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the
greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase.
If you have a question about the Corvette, just give us a call.
condition
Exterior
The Le Mans Blue
exterior
is in excellent driver condition. As one can see in the
photos
the finish has fine gloss, deep
shine, and smooth finish. Please note that this appears to
be an original sidepipe car with no cutouts for the standard
exhaust under the rear bumpers.
The chrome bumpers
and other bight work on the car show well for the most part.
There are
no major blemishes that have been intentionally excluded from
the photos. There are some imperfections that were too
faint to show up in photos, but nothing that is really stands
out from about ten feet away.
There is one spot
on the hood. There is a specific of it photo below.
The wheels
are in great condition with a nice finish and no curb rash on
the beauty rings. The tires are in nice shape with about 80%
tread left.
The convertible
top is in decent condition with no rips or holes. The rear
window is clear and not yellowed or foggy. Please note
that this car still retains its original and correct "Astro
Ventilation" door glass.
This Corvette has absolutely NO rust issues. The frame is
totally solid with no rust in front of the rear tire and I have
seen no evidence of corrosion around the windshield, which are
the most notorious areas for rust on a C3 Corvette.
The Corvette looks just as good in person as it does in the
photos.
Interior
The Gunmetal Gray interior of the Corvette
looks marvelous.
The seats look great with no rips, splits
seams, or signs of excessive wear.
They are not worn
in the typical areas such as where the driver gets in and out.
The carpet throughout the car is in
"like new" condition with no stains, rips,
or holes.
This includes the rear carpet,
which is often neglected.
The dash is in
great condition with no cracks, fading, or sun damage.
The original jack and jack handle are still with the car in
the rear storage compartment. There are stains on the left
door panel, which is visible in the photos. This car has
no aroma of cigarette smoke whatsoever. The installation
of the aftermarket radio looks very professional and this CD
player sounds much better than the factory radio ever did.
Corvette interiors are not known to wear well and the excellent
condition of this interior
is a testament
to the meticulous care this car has received.
The interior looks just as good in person as it does in the
photos.
Mechanical
This car is in awesome mechanical
condition and ready to be enjoyed. It is an exceptional
driver that is
tight on the road and at highway speeds.
There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. The
brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other.
It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs well.
The transmission shifts smoothly throughout the power band.
Also, the engine compartment is beautifully clean and detailed
as one can see in the photos. The
horn works as do the headlights, headlight override vacuum
switch, all gauges (with
the obvious exception of the clock),
blower for the heater, wipers, and even the tach with a tach
drive modern HEI.
The
fiber optics do not work.
This is an original a/c as equipped new from the factory.
Parts of the system have been removed, but it would make adding
a/c to the car in the future much easier. Not enough can
be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car,
especially with the top down on a beautiful day.
Overall
Condition
Overall, this 1969 Corvette is in great
driver condition. It is a great value and we have priced
it to sell. This car turns heads and gets ton of
attentions wherever it goes. In my opinion and based on
our experience the "Chrome Bumper" cars from 1968-1972 are the
most collectible in the entire Corvette market right now.
Of those years, the 1969 and 1972 are the most desirable.
The value of these cars has gone up exponentially in recent
years. The "Chrome Bumper" years have not had the
detrimental over inflation that the mid year Corvettes have
suffered from. They are all solid investments for a
collector. Cars like this are the Barrett Jackson stars of
the future. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for
several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with
minimal effort.
