about our dealership
Seven Hills Motorcars is Cincinnati's premier Corvette specialist and a licensed and registered auto dealer by the State of Ohio.  With many years of focused experience I specialize in 1957 to 1982 Corvettes.  There is no other dealership that can better meet your needs if you would like to buy, sell, or just find out more information about your Corvette.  This is simply a one man operation, and this is not my full time employment.  I do it because I enjoy it.  I am a collector and enthusiast and therefore look for cars that excite me.  I do not purchase at dealer auctions; each car is hand picked by me because it is special or rare to me and because I like it.

vehicle description

Seven Hills Motorcars is very proud to offer this frame off restored 1969 L71 Corvette Convertible in immaculate condition.  This beautiful Daytona Yellow Corvette looks laterally better than new.  The car has received a complete nut and bolt restoration to very high standards.  It is loaded with very desirable options like the L71 427ci 435hp engine, M21 Close Ratio 4-Speed transmission, and F41 special front and rear suspension.  This is an excellent opportunity to own a very desirable Corvette at an unbeatable value.  It gets a ton of attention going down the road.  I cannot even count the number of compliments I have received while driving this Corvette.  The low mileage is indicated as "actual" on the clear Ohio title.  Please peruse all of the photos and numbers below to get a true sense of how clean and nice this Corvette really is.

As a side note, this Corvette is not a dealer auction vehicle.  Our Corvettes come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did.  We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected.  Please take the time to scrutinize each picture.  We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase.  If you have a question about the Corvette, just give us a call.

condition

Exterior

The Daytona Yellow exterior is in stunning condition.  It is virtually perfect with hardly a nick anywhere on the car.  As one can see in the photos the finish has dazzling gloss, smooth finish, and deep shine.  The paintjob exhibits excellent professional quality and is only a couple years old.  Often many Corvettes will have particularly chipped up front ends, this car does not.  The underside of the front end, very fragile part of the car, is in great condition as evidenced by the photos.  The wheels are in superb condition with no curb rash and an excellent bright finish.  The tires are virtually brand new with less than 20 miles on them.  The chrome and brightwork on the car look splendid with no rust or cloudiness.  There are no major imperfections that have been excluded from the photos.  The convertible top looks like new with no rips or holes.  The rear window is clear and not yellowed or foggy at all.  This Corvette has absolutely NO rust issues.  The frame is totally solid with no rust in front of the rear tire and I have seen no evidence of corrosion around the windshield.  The underside of the car is almost as clean and looks almost as good as the top side.

The Corvette looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.

Interior

The black interior of the Corvette looks marvelous.  The seats look great with no rips, splits seams, or signs of excessive wear.  They are not worn in the typical areas such as where the driver gets in and out.  The carpet throughout the car is also in "like new" condition with no stains, rips, or holes.  This includes the rear carpet, which is often neglected.  The dash is in great condition with no cracks, fading, or sun damage.  The original jack and jack handle are still with the car in the rear storage compartment.  This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma whatsoever.

The interior looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.

Mechanical

The car seems to be in good mechanical condition.  The car drives terrifically; it is smooth on the road and at highway speeds.  There is no smoke when starting or driving the car.  The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other.  The clutch feels good and the transmission shifts well.  This Corvette has plenty of power and is very fast.  Everything on this car is functional.  The horn works as do the headlights, fan for the heater, all gauges (even the clock), wipers, lights, power windows, the original radio, and even the fiber optics. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car, especially with the 4-Speed, extra power and torque from the L71, and the top down out on a beautiful

Overall
Condition

Overall, this 1969 Corvette is in awesome condition.  It is a great value and we have priced it to sell.  This car turns heads and gets ton of attentions wherever it goes.  While all of the numbers that were checked on the car do match, do not have any documentation to verify that this is indeed an original L71 or to verify that the stampings are correct or original.  In my opinion and based on our experience the "Chrome Bumper" cars from 1968-1972 are the most collectible in the entire Corvette market right now.  Of those years, the 1969 and 1972 are the most desirable.  The value of these cars has gone up exponentially in recent years.  The "Chrome Bumper" years have not had the detrimental over inflation that the mid year Corvettes have suffered from.  They are all solid investments for a collector.  Cars like this are the Barrett Jackson stars of the future.  One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort.
