Seven Hills Motorcars is glad to offer this
beautiful 1969 Corvette Convertible in wonderful driver condition with
only 77,765 original miles. This Corvette looks fantastic, runs great, and is an
excellent driver. It is totally solid with great lines and
absolutely no rust issues.
We are offering an
excellent opportunity to own a very desirable Corvette model at an
unbeatable value. The market on C3 "chrome bumper" Corvettes
from 1968 to 1972 is absolutely red hot right now and on the
rise; one could easily buy this car now and sell it for more
than the purchase price in years to come. The low original
mileage is verified not only by the condition of the car, but also
the clear Ohio title showing the mileage as "Actual." Please peruse
all of the photos, video, and information below to get a true sense
of how nice and clean this Corvette really is.
Beside the Convertible body style, this Stingray is
absolutely loaded with highly desirable options like air
conditioning, power steering, power brakes, tilt/telescopic
steering column, and front fender louver trim.

As a side note, this Corvette is not a dealer auction vehicle.
We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our
Corvettes come from owners who expect their car to go to someone
that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did.
We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the
car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each
picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so
you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a
question about the Corvette, just give us a call.
White exterior is in excellent driver condition. As one can see
in the photos the finish has a terrific gloss, deep shine, and
smooth finish. The rally wheels have a brilliant finish and no
curb rash. The Cooper Cobra tires have
about 90% tread left. The soft top is literally brand new and
still has the tag on it by the rear window. The
rear window itself is crystal clean and not yellow or cloudy at
all. There are no major
blemishes that have been excluded from the photos. There are
some small imperfections and touch-ups around the car that were
too faint to show up in the photos, but nothing that is really
noticeable from about five or ten feet away. As one can see in
the many photos of the underside of the car, it is very clean
underneath and this Corvette has absolutely NO RUST ISSUES. We
have included specific photos of the areas most prone to rust.
The frame is totally solid with no rust around the "key hole"
are in front of the rear tire and I have seen no evidence of
corrosion around the windshield, which are the two most
notorious spots for rust on a C3 Corvette.
The Black interior in this Stingray is in outstanding
condition. The seats are in excellent shape with no split
seams, rips, or excessive wear. The carpet is also in
fantastic condition with no holes, rips, or major stains.
This includes the rear carpet, which is often neglected. The
gauge faces are crisp and clean and the lenses are clear.
The door panels are in terrific shape; there are no cracks
in the typical spot where the driver's elbow sits. The door pulls are
solid and intact. The dash and console look good with no
sun fading. There is a small cracked spot on the left side
of the dash. The original radio works and
most importantly the dash has never been cut or modified for an
aftermarket installation. The car has a jack and the spare is still with the car. This
Corvette has never been smoked in; there are no burns marks
and no aroma of cigarettes.
Corvette seems to be in good mechanical condition. It starts right away every time, runs well, and idles
smooth. It drives great and feels nice on the road and at
highway speeds. In the video below one can observe the car
accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting through
all the gears, braking to stoplight, and going through some
curves. Please note that there are no vibrations or strange
noises and the car performs quite well overall. The brakes are
responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. The
transmission shift well throughout the power band. Also, the
engine compartment is beautifully clean and detailed.
radio works as do all the exterior lights, wipers, and indicators. The blower for the heater works on all speeds.
The a/c works and blows cold, one can observe the a/c compressor
clicking on and engaging properly in the video. The
vacuum system for the headlights works from both of its
respective switches on the dash and the override switch under
the steering column. The
headlights go up quickly, evenly, and with no binding in the
entire operation of the headlights can be
viewed in the video. The problematic wiper door has been
replaced with a hood from a later C3 Corvette. All of the gauges work with the obvious
exception of the clock. Some of the fiber optics work. The horn
does not work. The car
seems to drive like it may have a lower rear end gear and the
speedo reads high. The car could probably use a basic
tune-up and is a bit lethargic of the line, but drive just as
well as it does in the video. Not
enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive
this car, especially with the top down on a beautiful day.
on the fiber optic light monitoring system. We
consistently receive many questions about the purpose of
this system; exactly what it is and what it does. The
sole and main idea behind the fiber optic light
monitoring system is to simply confirm that all of the
exterior lights, headlights, indicators, tail lights,
etc., are working and to make the driver aware of a a
burned out bulb. Each lamp on the outside of the car has
an actual fiber optic cable the runs to an indicator on
the center console. There are nine small indicators on
the console and each has its own finer optic cable. When
the bulb goes on the light travels through the fiber
optic cable and illuminates the corresponding indicator
on the console. If someone does not remember to plug the
cable end into the lamp housing, does any work to the
center console, or if there is a break in a connection
or anywhere along the cable, that indicator no longer
works. As one can image, over time this is very common.
Overall, this 1969 Corvette is in
great driver condition. Convertible examples in this
year range are draw a nice premium over a
standard Corvette Coupe. This Stingray is a great value and we
have it priced to sell. In my opinion and based on our
experience the "Chrome Bumper" cars from 1968-1972 are
the most collectible and hottest in the entire Corvette
market right now. The value of these cars has gone up
exponentially in recent years. They are all solid
investments for a collector. While this is not an NCRS
Top Flight or Bloomington Gold car, it is a very nice
driver quality Corvette and a great car for the money.
One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years
and sell it for more than the purchase price with
