Seven Hills Motorcars is
Cincinnati's premier Corvette specialist anda
licensed and registered auto dealer by the State of Ohio. With many
years of focused experience I specialize in 1963 to 1982 Corvettes.
There is no other dealership that can better meet your needs if you
would like to buy, sell, or just find out more information about your
Corvette. This is simply a one man operation, and this is not my full
time employment. I do it because I enjoy it. I am a collector and
enthusiast and therefore look for cars that excite me. I do not
purchase at dealer auctions; each car is hand picked by me because it is
special or rare to me and because I like it.

vehicle description
Seven Hills Motorcars is tremendously proud to offer this gorgeous
1969 Corvette in excellent condition with sidepipes, a 4-Speed
manual transmission, and t-tops with a pop-out rear window.
This car looks amazing, runs great, and is an awesome driver.
We have this car priced to sell and are offering an excellent
opportunity to own a very desirable Corvette at an unbeatable value.
One could easily buy this car now and sell it for more than the
purchase price with minimal work and effort. It gets a ton of
attention going down the road.
I cannot even count the number of compliments I have received while
driving this Corvette. The low mileage is verified as "Actual"
on the title, which is pictured below.
Please peruse all of the photos and information below to get a true sense
of how exceptionally nice and clean this Corvette really is.
As a side note, this Corvette is not a dealer auction vehicle.
We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our
Corvettes come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone
that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did.
We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the
car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each
picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so
you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a
question about the Corvette, just give us a call.
condition
Exterior
The bright blue
exterior
is in absolutely beautiful driver condition. As one can see in the
photos
the finish has fine gloss, deep
shine, and smooth finish.
The chrome bumpers
and other bight work on the car look nice with good finish
and no major rust or pitting.
The wheels
are in excellent condition with no curb rash on the beauty
rings.
Often many
Corvettes will have particularly chipped up front ends, this car does not.
There are
no major blemishes that have been intentionally excluded from
the photos. There are some imperfections that were too
faint to show up in photos, but nothing that is really
noticeable from about five or ten feet away.
Specific
photos below show some small touch ups and other small
imperfections.
The tires are in nice shape with about 80%
tread left.
The Corvette looks just as good in person as it does
in the photos.
Window Date Codes
Driver: NV -
"N" denotes
January
and "V" denotes 1969 meaning the driver's side window was made
in January of 1969.
Passenger: XV -
"X" denotes
February and "V" denotes 1969 meaning the passenger's side
window was made in February of 1969.
Rear: XV -
"X" denotes
February and "V" denotes 1969 meaning the rear window was made in
February of 1969.
Please note that
the "Astro Ventilation" door glass, and even the pop out rear
window, are date coded and original as each piece predates the
car's body build date of July 14, 1969 (L14). Original glass
is a good indication that this car has had no major accident
history and
never sustained significant damage.
Interior
The blue interior of the Corvette looks
very nice.
The seats look in person just as they do
in the photos with no
rips or splits seams.
They are not worn
through in the typical areas such as where the driver gets in and out.
The carpet is in good condition
with no tears
or holes.
This included the rear carpet which is often neglected.
The
dash is in excellent condition with no cracks or sun fading.
The original radio
is still installed in the car and actually gets decent reception. The door panels
look great with no cracks or splits.
This car has not been smoked in and there is no aroma whatsoever.
The
interior looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.
Mechanical
This car is in seems to be in
very good mechanical condition.
It is an exceptional driver that feels great
on the road and at highway speeds.
There is no
smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right
away every time, idles well, and runs well. The car shifts
well throughout the power bank. Also, the engine compartment is clean and
nicely detailed as one can see in the photos. The
horn works as do all the exterior lights, all
gauges (with
the obvious exception of the clock),
wipers, and blower for the heater.
The vacuum
system for the headlights works correctly from
both the respective switches on the dash and below the column. As with most 1968-71 Corvettes the fiber optic
light monitoring system is not totally functional.
The brakes are responsive and powerful; they do pull to the left
under hard braking. The only item I am aware of the car
that does not work is the rear window defroster, the switch
won't turn. This
Corvette has plenty of power and is very fast.
Not
enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive
this car, especially with the 4-speed transmission and t-tops
out on a beautiful day.
A note on the fiber optic light monitoring system.
We consistently receive many questions about the purpose
of this system; exactly what it is and what it does.
The sole and main idea behind the fiber optic light
monitoring system is to simply confirm that all of the
exterior lights, headlights, indicators, tail lights,
etc., are working and to make the driver aware of a a
burned out bulb. Each lamp on the outside of the
car has an actual fiber optic cable the runs to an
indicator on the center console. There are nine
small indicators on the console and each has its own
finer optic cable. When the bulb goes on the light
travels through the fiber optic cable and illuminates
the corresponding indicator on the console. If
someone does not remember to plug the cable end into the
lamp housing, does any work to the center console, or if
there is a break in a connection or anywhere along the
cable, that indicator no longer works. As one can
image, over time this is very common.
The system is very fragile and almost every driver
quality Corvette we receive from 1968 through 1971
has at least some of the fiber optics tat are no longer
functional. The system was so temperamental and
unnecessary that it was only used on Corvettes from
1968-1971 and was deleted by Chevrolet for the Corvette
in 1972.
Overall
Condition
Overall, this 1969 Corvette is in
excellent driver condition. It is a great value and we have priced
it to sell. This car turns heads and gets ton of
attentions wherever it goes. In my opinion and based on
our experience the "Chrome Bumper" cars from 1968-1972 are the
most collectible in the entire Corvette market right now.
Of those years, the 1969 and 1972 are the most desirable.
The value of these cars has gone up exponentially in recent
years. They are all solid investments for a
collector. Cars like this are the Barrett Jackson stars of
the future. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for
several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with
minimal effort.
Thank you for looking and please email or
call with any questions.
