about our dealership
Seven Hills Motorcars is Cincinnati's premier Corvette specialist and a licensed and registered auto dealer by the State of Ohio.  With many years of focused experience I specialize in 1957 to 1982 Corvettes.  There is no other dealership that can better meet your needs if you would like to buy, sell, or just find out more information about your Corvette.  This is simply a one man operation, and this is not my full time employment.  I do it because I enjoy it.  I am a collector and enthusiast and therefore look for cars that excite me.  I do not purchase at dealer auctions; each car is hand picked by me because it is special or rare to me and because I like it.

vehicle description

Seven Hills Motorcars is particularly proud to offer this completely numbers matching 1975 Corvette convertible with only 81.545 original miles.  This Corvette is in gorgeous condition and needs nothing.  It is a great driver ready to be used and enjoyed.  The low mileage is verified as original by not only the condition of the car, but also the clear Ohio title, pictured below, showing the mileage as "actual."  Please peruse the list of numbers below and all of the photos to get a true sense of how correct and clean this Corvette really is.

1975 was a very special year for Corvette, it was the last year of the C3 body style in which a convertible model was offered.  Only 4,629 convertibles were made that year, which is why the 1975 Corvette Convertible is one of the most desirable models in the entire production run of C3 Corvettes.  1975 was also the first year Corvettes featured High Energy Ignition (HEI) with no mechanical points; a dramatic improvement over previous designs.

As a side note, this Corvette is not a dealer auction vehicle.  We hand pick each car after careful inspection.  Our Corvettes come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did.  We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected.  Please take the time to scrutinize each picture.  We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase.  If you have a question about the Corvette, just give us a call.

condition

Exterior

The white exterior is in terrific driver condition.  The finish has nice gloss and smooth finish.  Often many corvettes will have particularly chipped up front ends, this car does not.  The underside of the front end is in great condition as evidenced by the photos.  There are no major imperfections that have been excluded from the photos.  There are some blemishes around the car that were too faint to show up in photos, but nothing that is really noticeable from five to ten feet away.  The convertible top is in great shape with no rips, tears, or holes.  The rear window is clear with no yellowing or cloudiness.  This car still retains its original side glass, verified by the etched date codes.  Original glass is a good indication that the car has not been in a major accident and never sustained significant damage.  The frame is totally solid with no rust issues.

Interior

The Dark Blue Leather interior is also in nice condition.  The seats look good for the mileage with no excessive wear, just what is visible in the photos.  Please note that these are the original genuine leather seats, not some cheap after market replacements.  The carpet is in great condition with no rips, holes or stains.  This includes the rear carpet which is often neglected.  The original pedal pads are not excessively worn, and as one can see from the pictures, show normal wear for a car with this mileage.   The dash is not split or sun faded at all.  The only issue inside is the seatbelts, which don't retract properly.  Corvette interiors are not known to wear well and the excellent condition of this interior is a testament to the meticulous care this car has received throughout it's life and another great verification of the mileage.  This car has not been smoked in; there are no burn marks or aroma what so ever.

Mechanical

This car is in nice mechanical condition.  Everything mechanical on the car works and it is an excellent driver.  The car starts right away every time, runs well, and idles well.  There is no smoke when starting or driving the car.  The car drives terrifically; it is tight on the road and at highway speeds.  The transmission shifts smoothly.  The brakes do not pull to one side or the other.  This Corvette has plenty of power and it is very fast.  All of the interior and exterior lights work.  All of the gauges work with the obvious exception of the clock.  The car does have some leaks.  The headlights pop up with no binding with both the headlight switch and the vacuum override switch.  Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car, especially with top down on a nice day.

Overall
Condition

Overall this 1975 Corvette convertible is in fantastic condition.  Numbers matching is extremely important in Corvette pricing.  The originality, quality, and the great extent to which the numbers match make this car especially important and difficult to duplicate.  Cars like this are the Barrett Jackson stars of the future.  The 1975 convertible is the star of today and the future investment vise; it is beyond doubt one of the most sound and secure ventures one could make into the Corvette market.  One could enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than your purchase price.
