Seven Hills Motorcars
is Cincinnati's premier Corvette specialist and a licensed
and registered auto dealer by the State of Ohio. With
many years of focused experience I specialize in 1957 to 1982
Corvettes. There is no other dealership that can better
meet your needs if you would like to buy, sell, or just find out
more information about your Corvette. This is simply a one
man operation, and this is not my full time employment. I
do it because I enjoy it. I am a collector and enthusiast
and therefore look for cars that excite me. I do not
purchase at dealer auctions; each car is hand picked by me
because it is special or rare to me and because I like it.

Seven Hills Motorcars is glad to offer this beautiful, low mileage,
1979 Corvette that is an excellent driver and priced to sell.
The car is totally solid and rust free. It runs awesome and is
a blast to drive. This is an excellent opportunity to own a
classic Corvette that is ready to be used and enjoyed at an
unbeatable value. One could easily buy this car now and sell
it for more than the purchase price with minimal work and effort.
The low mileage is supported not only by the condition of the car,
but also the clear Ohio title, pictured below, that states the
mileage as "Actual."
Please peruse all of the photos below to get a true sense of how
original and correct this Corvette really is.
"The Corvette evolution continues" announced the slogan from the
1979 Corvette sales catalog. The L48 engine received the
dual-snorkel air intake introduced in 1978 for the optional L82 V-8,
which added 10 horsepower. All Corvettes in 1979 now had the
high-back bucket seats introduced on the 1978 limited-edition
Indianapolis 500 Pace Car. A higher pivot point allowed the
backrest fold more
flat and level with the luggage area floor. which drastically
improved access to the rear storage area.
As a side note, this Corvette is not a dealer auction vehicle.
Our Corvettes come from owners who expect their cars to go to
someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as
they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in
person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to
scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the
greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase.

smooth finish, and deep shine.
Corvettes will have particularly chipped up front ends, this
car does not. The underside of the front end, a very
fragile part of the car, is in great condition as evidenced by

There are no major
imperfections that have been excluded from the photos.
There are some small spots and blemishes that were too faint to
show up in photos, but nothing that is really noticeable from

This Corvette has absolutely NO rust issues. The
frame is totally solid with no rust in front of the rear tire
and I have seen no evidence of corrosion around the windshield.
The car looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.
The Light Beige Leather interior of the
Corvette is in beautiful condition.
The seats look brilliant and virtually
brand new with no rips, tears, or split seams.
They are not worn
in the typical areas such as where the driver gets in and out.
The carpet is
in excellent condition as well with no stains or holes.
This includes the rear carpet with is often neglected.
The door panels
are in awesome shape with no tears and, unlike many
Corvettes of this age, they fit well and tight to the door.
The console and
dash are in great condition with no fading or sun damage.
The steering wheel looks like new with no stains, cracking, or
The original pedal pads are not
excessively worn and, as one can see from the pictures, show
normal wear for a car with this mileage. This car has not
been smoked in; there are no burn marks or aroma whatsoever.
The t-top storage bags are also included with the car.
The interior looks just as good in person as it does in the

The car starts right away every time, idles well, runs well.

is an exceptional driver that is
tight on the road and at highway speeds.
There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. The
transmission shifts smoothly throughout the power band.
The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the
other. There is a sticky spot in the pedal mechanism, but
this is no way affects the braking.
Also, the engine compartment is nicely detailed as one can see
in the photos. This
Corvette has plenty of power and is very fast.
The power windows
work as do the all the interior and exterior lights, fan for the
heater and a/c, all gauges (with the obvious exception of the
clock), wipers, and even the power antenna, which is a very
common problem on late C3 Corvettes. The
vacuum for the headlights works as both lights pop up with the
headlight switch or override switch as they should. The
power locks will lock the door, but do not unlock. The
only items I am aware of on the car that do not work are the
cruise control and a/c.
The compressor is free and not locked up so the system most
likely needs to be recharged.
These are minor
issues that are present on the majority of Corvettes we
encounter from this era, that do no affect drivability, and that
most owners would not disclose.
Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to
drive this car, especially with the t-tops out on a beautiful
Overall, this 1979 Corvette is in great
driver condition. This car is a great value and we have
priced it to sell. This car turns heads and gets ton of
attentions wherever it goes. The value of the C3 body
style cars has gone up dramatically in the past few years.
They are all solid investments for a collector. One could
drive and enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for
more than the purchase price with minimal effort.
