Seven Hills Motorcars is
Cincinnati's premier Corvette specialist. We are a
licensed and registered auto dealer by the State of Ohio. With
many years of focused experience I specialize in 1963 to 2004 Corvettes.
There is no other dealership that can better meet your needs if you
would like to buy, sell, or just find out more information about your
Corvette. This is simply a one man operation, and this is not my
full time employment. I do it because I enjoy it. I am a
collector and enthusiast and therefore look for cars that excite me.
I do not purchase at dealer auctions; each car is hand picked by me
because it is special or rare to me and because I like it.

Seven Hills Motorcars is very proud to offer this low mileage 1981
Corvette for sale.
This car is
numbers matching, with the last six digits of the vin, 402963,
stamped on the engine block. The car is still in it's original
color combination, which is verified by the trim tag with is
pictured below. Cinnabar interior is a bit rare and an
excellent compliment to the white exterior. This car left the
factory in St. Louis on September 19, 1980. This is
verified by the code on the trim tag, "B19," and the
sticker on the drivers door showing. "09/80." This car is in
excellent condition and ready to be driven. As you look
through the description and photos please note how clean and
remarkably unmolested this car is. I invite and encourage you
to look at the Corvette in person.
As a side note, this Corvette is not a dealer auction vehicle.
We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our cars
come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will
give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We
invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the
car inspected. Please take the time to examine each picture.
We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel
confident about bidding. If you have a question about the
Corvette, just give us a call.
The white exterior
paint is in awesome driver condition. The paintís finish
has a smooth finish and a nice gloss.
Even the low front spoiler, a
very venerable area on these cars is in good condition and
This part of the car is very fragile and a it's condition is a
testament to the care and attention this car has received over
the years. The body panel fit, as one car see in the
photos, is quite nice for a Corvette.
The bumpers are NOT faded or wavy like many other Corvettes of
There are no major scratches or blemishes in the paint that have
been excluded from the photos.
There are some small marks in the paint around the car that were
too small to show in in the photos, but nothing that is
noticeable from five feet away.
This car features
aluminum wheels, which are in excellent condition with no curb
rash. This car has no rust issues.
The frame and
everything else on the car is very solid and I have seen no
evidence of corrosion around the "A" Pillar. The car
looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.
The side glass and rear window are date coded and original to this
car as they predate the build date of September 19, 1980. This
is a good indication that the car has never been in a major accident
and never sustained any significant damage.

The Cinnabar leather interior in this
Corvette is in awesome condition. The seats look nearly
brand new with no excessive wear.
They are not worn or ripped in the
typical areas such as where the driver gets in and out like many
Corvettes from this vintage. The carpet is in great shape
with no rips, holes, or notable stains. This
include the rear carpet which is often neglected. The door
panels are in great condition and fit tightly to the door.
The dash and console have no splits or sun fading.
has not been smoked in, there is no aroma or burn marks
The corvette is
in great mechanical condition. The car starts right away,
drives exceptionally, brakes straight and powerfully. The car
does not smoke. The transmission shifts smoothly throughout
the power band. It is tight on the road and has been perfectly
reliable since I have owned it, which was reiterated by the previous
owner. I personally drove this car all last autumn, including a four hour road trip
with no issues. The headlights go up
and down perfectly with both the headlight switch and vacuum
override switch, all of the lights work, the horn works, and even
the a/c still blows cold. There are two small items on
the car that I know of that do no work, these are the cruise control
as with almost all Corvettes up until 1997, the power antenna.
This Corvette is fast, comfortable, and an absolute pleasure to
Also, for any 1981
Corvette you may look at, be sure to check the "check engine"
light. The light should go on when the key is turned on
then quickly go off when the car is started as a confirmation
that the light is working. That majority of these cars
have had the bulb removed to mask other problems. The
"check engine" light on this car operates just as it should,
going on with the car as a check and then going off when
Overall the vehicle is in outstanding
both the exterior
and interior as well as mechanically.
The vehicle is numbers matching, which is
a must for any Corvette that can be taken seriously as a
investment or show car. Corvettes
from 1980 to 1982 are becoming highly desirable and have
continued to appreciate in value over the past few years.
They are solid investments and will provide you with years of
enjoyment. One could drive and enjoy this car for a few
years and then sell it for more than the purchase price.
If you have any
questions about the car please do not hesitate to email or call.
Thank you for looking and have a nice day.
