Seven Hills Motorcars is exceptionally proud to offer
this frame off restored 1939 Ford Model 91A DeLuxe Convertible.
This Ford is in impeccable condition and needs nothing. It is
turn key and ready to be driven and enjoyed. The car received
a complete cosmetic and mechanical "nut and bolt" restoration to
very high original standards. The car is completely stock with
the exception of seat belts, radial tires, turn signals, and power
steering. Please note that the power steering uses all
Corvette components so the car still retains the original steering
box, links, and all other components. With this Corvette
system all the parts are bolted on so the car was not modified for
the installation meaning the power steering could be removed by a
future owner with no evidence it was ever on the car. The
radial tires are made by Coker Tire as stock replacements.
The car features a correct working radio, a correct
working mechanical clock, flathead V8 and cylinder heads with
correct "81A" casting, spider hub caps, beauty rings, and rumble
through 1948 vehicles, Ford Motor Company stamped the serial number
into the top of the driver's side frame rail in three locations.
Only the forward-most stamping is visible when looking down into the
engine compartment. The two other frame locations are visible only
when the body is removed from the frame.
The serial number for this car is
visible in the forward most location in the following format:
As a side note, this Ford Deluxe is not a dealer auction vehicle.
We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our
vehicles come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone
that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did.
We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the
car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each
picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so
you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a
question about the Ford, just give us a call.

about the dealership
Seven Hills Motorcars
is Cincinnati's premier Corvette specialist. We
are a licensed and registered auto dealer by the State of Ohio.
With many years of focused experience I specialize in 1963 to
1982 Corvettes. There is no other dealership that can
better meet your needs if you would like to buy, sell, or just
find out more information about your Corvette. This is
simply a one man operation, and this is not my full time
employment. I do it because I enjoy it. I am a
collector and enthusiast and therefore look for cars that excite
me. I do not purchase at dealer auctions; each car is hand
picked by me because it is special or rare to me and because I
Contact a representative directly:
is in great condition.
As one can see in the photos, the finish has brilliant gloss
and smooth glass-like finish.
There are no major
imperfections that have been excluded from the photos.
There are some faint spots and touch-ups in the paint that
were much too small to show up in photos, but nothing that is
really noticeable from five feet away. There is also some
very faint cracking under the paint around the car. It is
hardly noticeable in person and only from certain angles in
certain light. I have specifically taken a photo to
top is of impeccable quality and looks virtually brand new.
The chrome and other bright work is in awesome condition.
The beauty rings have no curb rash.
The tires are literally brand new.
All of the glass has the Ford logo and a date code of 11/ 1938.
has totally solid with absolutely no rust issues as one can see
from the underside photos.
looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.
The dark Leather interior of this
Ford is also in fabulous condition.
The seats look look fantastic with
almost no wear. The seats have no cracks, rips, tears, or
stains. This includes the rumble seat which also in
excellent shape. The dash and the wood grain look awesome.
The door panels look terrific with only a one spot of wear
on the driver's side, which is easily visible in the photos.
All of the gauges work, even the mechanical clock.
The rear window in the convertible top is glass.
The spare tire and rim are in
place behind the front seat.
The interior looks just as
good in person as it does in the photos.
This Ford received a
full mechanical restoration and ahs been used sparingly since.
It is in fantastic
mechanical condition, there are no issues at
all with this
Ford, and it is essentially "turn key".
The car starts right away every time, runs well, and idles as
smooth as a sewing machine. There is no smoke when
starting or driving the car.
The car drives terrifically for a
1939 Ford. The power steering is a great asset and makes
the car so much easier and enjoyable to drive and maneuver.
The clutch feels
good and not worn. The brakes are responsive and and work
well. Everything I have tried on the car works including
the horn, wipers, radio, lights, and clock. Not enough can
be said as to how much of a delight it is to drive this car,
especially with top down on a beautiful day.
Overall this 1939 Ford DeLuxe convertible
is in marvelous condition. All of the work to this car has
already been done. It would be impossible to replicate the
car for the asking price. This is not only a beautiful
car, but also an investment that can be used and enjoyed while
appreciating in value.
