Seven Hills Motorcars is proud to offer this 1965 Mustang Coupe
that is in excellent restored condition and priced to sell. This Mustang is in
magnificent condition throughout
featuring a beautiful interior, a stunning professional

stripes, brand new American Racing wheels and tires, and a
wonderfully clean under carriage and engine bay. It looks great,
runs well, and is fun to drive. This is an excellent opportunity to
own a classic Mustang that is ready to be used and enjoyed at an
unbeatable value. One could easily buy this car now and sell it for
more than the purchase price in years to come. Please peruse all
of the photos, video, and information below to get a true sense of how nice this Mustang
We first viewed and admired this Mustang at the Mecum
Indianapolis sale in May of this year. At that auction it
was sold to a gentleman in Columbus, Ohio for $17,280. We
acquired the Mustang when he traded the car into us for a Special
Edition Trans Am. We still have the Bill of Sale from Mecum showing the price
of $17,280 and we would encourage any perspective buyer to
verify this information with Mecum. There is not a more
prefect representation of true market price than a sale at a
prominent auction like Mecum; this is another example of the
excellent value we are offering for this Mustang.
As a side note, this Mustang is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our
classics come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone
that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the
car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each
picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so
you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a
question about the Ford, just give us a call.

In 1965 the Ford Mustang debuted as a simple sports car powered by a
170 cid six cylinder with a pair of V8's as options. Originally
named for the fighter plane, the P-51 Mustang and later the horse
Mustang became the emblem. Buyers loved its low price, long hood,
short trunk styling, and its many options and Ford loved its high
volume sales. In mid 1964, Ford introduced the sporty 2+2 fastback
body style to go along with the hardtop coupe and convertible.
Enthusiasts also cheered the new "K-code" 271bhp 289 cid V8 that
finally put some performance to match the Mustang's good looks. For
those that wanted more, the legendary Carroll Shelby and Ford
collaborated to produce the Shelby GT-350. This was a fastback
specially tuned by Shelby. The 289 V8 produced 306bhp in street tune
and around 360bhp in special GT-350R race tune. These Shelby's had
no back seat, were only available in white and were fully race
Green Metallic exterior is in beautiful restored
condition. As one can see in the photos, the paint has a
brilliant gloss, deep shine, and smooth finish. This Mustang was treated to a professional repaint with new sporty white
racing stripes applied. The front and rear chrome bumpers look
almost brand new and virtually flawless with a beautiful finish
and no rust or pitting. Both doors, the hood, and trunk all open
and shut well and overall the car exhibits good body panel fit. The body is
very strait and
solid and there are no visible signs of any rust. We have
include specific photos
of the areas on the car most prone to rust to
show how solid and truly rust free this car really is. There are
no major imperfections that have been intentionally excluded
from the photos. There may be some small blemishes that were too
faint to show up in photos, but nothing that is really
noticeable from about five or ten feet away. The BF Goodrich
Tires are basically brand new and really
compliment the look of this fine Mustang. The American
Racing Aluminum wheels are also brand new and in excellent
condition with no curb rash or flaws in any way. The
trunk is solid and nicely detailed with a new trunk mat.
The Mustang looks just as good in person as it does in the

Please note that ALL the glass on this Mustang is date coded and original as each piece
predates the car's body build date of December 22 , 1964 (22M). Original glass is a good indication that this car
has had no major accident history and never sustained significant damage.
As once can imagine, if this car had been in a major
wreck at least one piece of glass would have been
The black interior of this
Mustang looks fantastic. The seat look flawless with
no rips, tears, or excessive wear in any way. The carpet is in
near perfect condition with no stains, rips, or holes. The
dash is in great condition with no cracks, fading, or sun
damage. The original AM radio is still in this car today,
which is a testament to the originality of this Mustang, and
still works as it should. Most importantly the dash remains
uncut and in its stock configuration. All of the
gauges work as they should. The door panels look great with no cracks or splits,
and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner is
in nice condition with no stains, sagging, or rips. The
package tray is also in great shape with no warping, fading,
or cracks. A set
of brand new Mustang logo mats really compliment this near
mint interior. This car has not been smoked in and there is
no aroma or cigarettes what so ever.
The interior looks just as good in person as it does in the
appears to be in great mechanical condition and all the
accessories work. It is an great driver that feels
great on the road and at highway speeds. In the video below one
can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about
70mph and then braking to stoplight. Please note that there are
no strange noises, it is smooth at speed, and the car performs
quite well overall. There is no smoke when
starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time,
idles well, and runs well. The brakes are responsive and do not
pull to one side or the other; they appear to have been
recently overhauled, though there is a very slight pulsation
when braking hard at highway speeds. The transmission shifts
well, kicks down properly, and is very smooth. Also, the
engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the
photos. All the interior and exterior lights work well. The turn
signals work as does the indicator on the dash, so does the
blower on all speed, horn from an auxiliary button on the
column, windshield wipers, and even the windshield washers as
one can see in the video below. The
under carriage of this Mustang is very clean and very solid. A
complete new exhaust was installed on this car including a Flowmaster muffler which gives this Mustang coupe a healthy
sound. This Mustang is overall an excellent driver and not
enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to be
behind the wheel listening to the sweet exhaust note you can
only experience in a Mustang.
Overall, this 1965 Mustang Coupe
is in excellent driver condition. It is a great value
and we have it priced to sell. The very low mileage of
just over 37,500 is indicated as original and "Actual"
on the title pictured below. The mileage seems plausible
with the condition of the car, but we have no other
documentation or information to verify the mileage.
The title to the car is branded as "Rebuilt," we do not
have the details as to what happened in the cars past,
but as one can see in the many photos of the car,
including those of the underside, it appears to be
in great shape now. Often times classic cars were
totaled out by insurance companies in the past when
there were not as valuable and before they were
considered classic. During the 1970's and 1980's these
were just used cars without too much value so even a
small incident could be enough to warrant repairs that
were a greater percentage of the value of the car. The
all original glass is another indication that whatever
incident happened in the past was not that severe. This Mustang turns heads
and gets tons of attention wherever it goes. The value
of these cars has gone up exponentially in recent years.
They are all solid investments for a collector or the
average enthusiast. One could easily
enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for
more than the purchase price with minimal effort.
