The Firebird set
record sales in the 1979 calendar year as this example provides good
reason why. The Firebird redesign of the front and rear
bumpers was well received, especially the continuous rear tail
lights. The Firebird also introduced "Hobnail" interior in the
deluxe option package for 1979. Design changes to the front
wheel flares and rear spoiler round out the new design for the 1979

The blue exterior is in excellent driver condition.
As one can see in the photos, the paint has a nice
gloss, good shine, and smooth finish and was recently
painted. The chrome trim and decals show well on
the car. Often many Firebirds will have
particularly chipped up front ends, this car does not,
both bumpers are in excellent shape with no spider
webbing or flaking paint. There are no major
imperfections that have been intentionally excluded from
There may be some
small blemishes that were too faint to show up in
photos, but nothing that is really noticeable from
about five or ten feet away.
Tires are like new sized 255/60/15 and
the snowflake wheels and center caps are new
reproductions. The Esprit decal package is a nice
compliment to the blue paintwork. This Firebird is

rust underneath. T tops are

The light blue deluxe interior of
the Firebird looks splendid. The seats look in person as
they do in the photos with no excessive wear, just a small
amount the driver's bolster and couple spots on the passenger
seat, there are specific photos of those areas below.
Please note that these are the original seats and material, not
some cheap aftermarket replacements or covers. The carpet is
newly replaced with no major stains, rips, or holes. The
original dash is in good condition with no major cracks, fading,
or sun damage. All interior lights and gauges work as they
should outside of the clock. The door panels look great
with no cracks or splits, and both door pulls are solid and in
tact. Headliner and package tray have also newly been
replaced and are in great condition. This car has not been
smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever. Firebird
interiors are not know to wear well and the excellent condition
of this interior is a testament to the care this car has
interior looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.
This Firebird is in excellent
mechanical condition and all of the accessories work. The
mechanics and the way this car runs and drives are some of its
strongest points. Much
resources and time have went into making this Firebird an
exceptional driver that feels great on the road and highway
speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the
car. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs
excellent. The car shifts well and the clutch feels good.
The brakes do not pull as new calipers were installed.
Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see
from the photos. The horn works as do all the interior and
exterior lights, all gauges(except clock), wipers, and blower
for the heater. The speedometer, tachometer, odometer, oil
pressure, fuel, and battery gauges all work as they should. This
firebird has plenty of power and is really fast with over 300HP.
Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to
drive this car, especially with the 4-speed transmission and t-tops out on a beautiful day.
you will see a picture of a folder of receipts well over an inch
thick that total more than the asking price of this car.
For example: $1800 for 350 crate motor, $600 for rebuilt
transmission, $300 plus for new clutch and accessories, $240 for

intake, and this goes on and on and on. Not to mention the
newer tires and snow flake rims, plus the newer paint job, new
