Seven Hills Motorcars is very proud to offer this extremely low mileage 1997
Porsche 911 (993) Turbo in spectacular condition. The market on
the 1996-98 911 Turbos is absolutely hot right now. Very low mileage and original examples of
the 993 Turbo difficult to find and draw a huge premium
in the current market. This 993 is exceptionally original and
correct with its original window sticker, books, and tools. The AutoCheck report on this
car is totally clean and shows no accident
history. The low original mileage is verified not only
by the condition of the car, but also the clear Ohio title showing the mileage as "Actual."
This 911 was sold new at Northland Porsche here in
Cincinnati and the car has been local ever since. It has
basically had only two owners since new, the first owner
changed the title from his personal name into his business
name a few times so the AutoCheck shows more owners.
However, I have personally known this Porsche since it was
owned by its original owner. It is priced to sell and a great value for a 993
Turbo with such
low mileage. This 993 has the fewest miles of almost any
other example on the market right now.
This 993 Turbo looks outstanding, runs great, and drives
amazingly. The car has been recently serviced and this is an excellent opportunity
to own a classic Porsche that is ready to be used and enjoyed. One could easily buy this car now and sell it for
more than the purchase price in years to come. Also included with the car are the original owners
manual, books, tool roll, spare tire and
rim, jack, Porsche air compressor, and even the original
case for the radio's removable head unit, which are all pictured
below. This 911 is
finished in the beautiful and desirable color combination of Guards
Red (L84A) exterior over Cashmere Leather interior
(YA). This is the correct and original color scheme as
verified by the codes on the data sticker and the original
window sticker, both pictured below. Please
peruse all of the photos, video, and other information
below to get a true sense of clean and nice this 911 really is.
As a side note, this Porsche is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our
classics come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone
that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the
car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each
picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so
you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a
question about the 993, just give us a call.
993 is the company's internal name for the version of the
Porsche 911 model manufactured and sold between late 1993
and early 1998 (model years 1995-1998 in the United States),
replacing the 964. Its discontinuation marked the end of
air-cooled Porsches, with the 993 being the last air-cooled
911. The 993 generation of the 911 is often referred to as
the best and most desirable of the 911 series, not only
because of its beauty, but also because its performance is
very good, even by modern standards, and the 993 was "the
last complete 'modern classic'"; "the 993 was and forever
will be that last fresh breath of air that Porsche gave the
world; elegance and muscle all in one package." The book
"Porsche 993 - Essential Companion" refers to the 993 as the
"King of Porsche," and it is generally acknowledged as "The
purists' Holy Grail."
The 993 was much improved over,
and quite different from, its predecessor. Porsche said that
every part of its engine was new, and only 20% of its parts
were carried over from the previous generation. Porsche
itself refers to the 993 as "a significant advance, not just
from a technical, but also a visual perspective." Porsche's
engineers devised a new light-alloy subframe with coil and
wishbone suspension (an all new multi-link system), putting
behind the previous lift-off oversteer and making
significant progress with the engine and handling, creating
a more civilized car with better than ever quality yet one
in which the driving experienced remained uncompromised. *
Red exterior is in excellent condition. As one can see in the
photos, the paint has a brilliant gloss, deep shine, and smooth
finish. Both doors open and shut nicely; it has that solid
Porsche touch and feels like a vault door closing. Overall the
car exhibits very nice body panel fit. All of the wheels correct
and original according to the data sticker with the Steel Gray
finish and the correct center caps the gold Porsche crest. They are
in great shape have no curb rash, but
do have light crazing on the surface. The Pirelli tires have
about 90% tread left;
they have been replaced once simply due to age, not wear. There
are no major imperfections that have been intentionally excluded
from the photos.
The Cashmere Leather interior of the
looks absolutely fantastic. The seats are in excellent
condition with no tears, rips, or split seams. The seat is
not overly worn in the typical are on the driver's bolster
where the driver gets in and out. The carpet looks terrific
with no stains, rips, or holes. All of the gauges faces
are crisp and the lenses are clear. The dash is in great
condition with no cracks, fading, or sun damage. The wood
trim looks nice overall with no fading, delamination, or
cracking. There is very small
scuff on the lower left front corner of the driver's seat,
which is pictured below. This car has never been smoked in;
there is no aroma of cigarettes what so ever, obviously no
burn marks, and the factory lighter looks brand new and has never been used.
condition of this all original interior is a huge testament to the
meticulous care and attention this Porsche has received throughout its life.
This 993 Turbo
appears to be in excellent mechanical condition. There are some
recent maintenance records included with the
car. I have personally put over 100 miles on this Porsche
and during that time is the completely reliable and a pleasure
to drive. The engine starts right
away every time, idles smooth, and runs great. It is an
exceptional driver that feels nice on the road and at highway
speeds. In the video below one can observe the car accelerating
on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting through all the
gears, braking to a stoplight, and going through some curves.
Please note that it shifts well, runs great, there are no vibrations, and the car performs quite nice
overall. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side
or the other. The clutch has been recently serviced by the
Porsche dealer with a receipt included with the car. There is no
blue smoke when starting or driving the car. It runs cool and does
not overheat. Also, the engine bay is clean, nicely detailed,
and correct as one can see from the photos.
in the video that all of the warning lights work
properly. They light up when the key is first turned on
and then go off when the engine is started. There are no
"check engine" or other warning lights that stay on.
works as do all the exterior lights, interior lights,
indicators, power windows, power seats, sunroof, etc.
All of the gauges work. The original radio works, gets
fine reception, and sounds great. The Porsche truly lives up to its reputation as
one of the best sports cars of all time and this example
is truly a gem and that runs and drives basically like
new. Not enough can be said as to how much of a
pleasure it is to drive this car.
Overall, this 1997 Porsche 911
(993) Turbo is
in excellent condition low mileage condition. The market on for the
993 Turbos is still strong right, and this is genuinely
one of the best available.
Thank you for looking and please do not
hesitate to email or call with any questions.
