Seven Hills Motorcars is extremely proud to offer this exceptionally clean 1986 Rolls Royce Silver Spur with just over 32,000 miles since new. The car has had only two owners since it was purchased new. It has received the absolute finest care and maintenance money could buy over the years. It has been stored in an indoor climate controlled environment and was never been used as a daily driver by the previous owner. All of the original books and documentation, which are pictured below, are still with the car and included. You will find this car to be one of the finest and cleanest Silver Spurs on the market today, thank you for looking.

I purchased this car from a recognized estate here in Cincinnati. The previous owner was well known for his Rolls Royce collection. He purchased this car in 1990 from Albers Rolls Royce and Bentley in Indianapolis when it had only 10,000 miles. He was an older fellow that never married and his Rolls Royces were his passion in life. He as an active member of the Rolls Royce Owners club as well as many other local car clubs. He drove this car and other Rolls to many of the events accumulating over 250 trophies in the process. A placard from Cincinnati Concourse d'Elegance is included. He gave this car the best care and maintenance money could buy and it shows now in the condition of the car. The owner was so particular, one of the receipts from Albers Rolls Royce is for a pair of gloves that he stowed in the truck in case he needed to change a tire.

As a side note, this Rolls Royce is not a dealer auction vehicle. I hand pick each car after careful inspection. The cars I purchase come from owners who expect their car to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. The first version of the Silver Spur and Spirit series was introduced in 1981. The Spur models were four inches longer, all of which was in the rear seat floor area. Silver Spurs, such as this example, often have rear footrests and picnic tables in the rear of the front seats, items are rarely found on Silver Spirits. In addition, Spurs had finer woodwork, leather with contrasting color piping, and Girling automatic ride height control system with gas charged shock absorbers.

Exterior

The Oyster exterior paint is in stunning condition. This car is in it's original color as indicated by the original documentation included with the car. There are no major scratches, scrapes, or blemishes in the paint. The paint’s finish has an excellent gloss. This car has always been kept clean and professionally detailed and it shows in how well the paint looks now. The body is very straight with no wrinkles, dings, or dents. The chrome and other bright work are all in superb condition. The wheels are in excellent condition with no curb rash. The gray Everflex roof is in magnificent condition. The entire exterior of the car looks just as good, if not better in person than it does in the photos.

Interior

The Mushroom piped Slate leather interior of this Rolls Royce is in exceptional condition. The seats look just as they do in the photos with almost no signs of wear. The carpet is in like new great condition with no holes or stains. The dash and arms rests look awesome with no cracks or sun damage. The original pedal pads are not excessively worn, and as one can see from the pictures show normal wear for a car with this mileage. Since at least 1990 that car has had an extra set of Rolls Royce floor mats over the original sheepskin rugs so they are in amazing condition and look just as they do in the photos. The backing on the underside of the original sheepskin tends to wear poorly over time, fray, and come apart. I have specially included a photo of the backing and the tag to show how nice the rugs are overall and that they are original. It is obvious this car has not been molested, the original jack and tools are still in place in the trunk.

Mechanical

This Rolls Royce is in tip top mechanical condition. It starts up quickly, runs well, idles well, and does not smoke. The transmission shifts smoothly throughout the engine’s power band. The brakes are powerful and stop well and perfectly straight. All of the options and accessories on this car work just as they should. All of the lights and gauges work. I cannot emphasize enough what a pleasure it is to drive this car.

Overall

The overall condition of this Silver Spur is remarkable, both the exterior and interior. The level of preservation and maintenance this car has received cannot be duplicated, this is by far on the nicest Silver Spurs on the market right now. The Rolls Royce always turns heads and is admired by every car enthusiast and as a marque cannot be eclipsed. Thank you for looking and please email or call with any questions.
