It is also the correct and original color scheme as verified by the codes on the service sticker, which is pictured in this ad, as well as the original window sticker which is also included with the car and pictured.

I have put more than 200 miles on this CL500 in the past month. The car was a pleasure to drive, had no issues at all, and was flawlessly reliable. There is a copy of the AutoCheck report in this ad. The report shows no accident history and verifies the very low original mileage.

The car comes with both original key remotes, the original owners manual and books, and the original window sticker. Exterior

The Flint Grey exterior is in excellent condition. As one can see in the photos, the finish has dazzling gloss, smooth finish, and deep shine. Both doors open and shut nicely; it has that solid Mercedes touch and feels like a vault door closing. The car exhibits great body panel fit overall. It has never been in any kind of accident. The 17” alloy wheels are in great condition with a brilliant finish. The Continental tires are have plenty of life left on them. There are no major imperfections that have been intentionally excluded from the photos. There is some slight discoloration around some of the window edges and the mirror, a spot by the right rear window, and some very tiny imperfections that were too faint to show up in the photos, but nothing that is noticeable from five feet away. This Mercedes has always been stored indoors, was never driven in inclement weather, and is very clean underneath.

The car looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.

Interior

The Ash Leather interior of the Mercedes is in absolutely fantastic condition. The seats look great with no rips, tears, or split seams. The seat is not overly worn in the typical are on the bolster where the driver gets in and out. The gauge faces are clean and crisp and the lenses are clear. The carpet is also in great condition with no stains, rips, or holes. The dash and console are in great shape with no cracks, fading, or sun damage. This Mercedes has never been smoked in; there are no burns marks, no aroma of cigarettes, and the cigarette lighter has never been used.

Lighter color interiors like this Ash leather are not known to wear well and the excellent condition of this interior is a huge testament to the meticulous care and attention this Mercedes has received throughout its life.

The interior looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.

Mechanical

This Mercedes is in wonderful mechanical condition. As stated above I have recently put more than 200 miles on this car with no problems at all. The 5.0L V8 engine starts right away every time, runs great, and idles smooth. The car drives magnificently and feels great on the road and at highway speeds, it drives just as well as you would expect from a well maintained German touring car with very low mileage. In the video below one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting through all the gears, braking to stoplight, and going through some curves. Please note that there are no strange noises or vibrations and the car performs quite well overall. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. The transmission shifts well throughout the power band. Also, the engine compartment is beautifully clean, detailed, and correct as one can see in the photos. The car is completely stock, has no modification, and is totally unmolested.

The radio works as do the exterior lights, dash lights, power seats in all directions, seat heaters, seat coolers, power mirrors in all directions, horn, wipers, and indicators. The blower for the heater and a/c works on all speeds. The a/c itself works and blows cold. All of the gauges work. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car.

The car runs and drives as well as it looks.

Overall Condition

Overall, this 2005 Mercedes CL500 looks fantastic and is an awesome car. The beautiful original color combination, excellent condition, and the very low original mileage make this CL especially important and very hard to duplicate. The Mercedes CL has been an iconic model for decades and this 500 is truly a premium example.
