Please call Matt directly at 513-708-1468 with any questions about this car.

Seven Hills Motorcars is very proud to offer this absolutely spectacular Superformance Shelby Cobra in marvelous condition. In the world of Cobra roadsters there are nice cars and then there are cars that take things to a whole new level. Superformance has taken the Shelby market to a level far above any other company or builder. As the only Shelby licensed replica of the original 1965 Cobra this roadster's sublime Superformance body utilizes high quality hand laminated fiberglass to create a rock-solid drop-top that provides a first-rate driving experience. This car looks immaculate, runs great, and is an awesome driver. Everything on the car works; it is “turn key” and ready to be driven and enjoyed by its next owner.

This Cobra is finished and beautiful color combination of Indigo Blue Metallic with Charcoal Metallic stripes and a black interior. Under the lightweight hood and you will find a Roush Performance 427 R small block with 550 horsepower and 535 lb./ft. of torque. Power is transmitted to the wheels through a rugged Tremec 5-speed a Dana third member. That drivetrain hangs in a Superformance heavy wall Jig-welded frame which rides a Superformance fully independent suspension. Steering come courtesy of rack-and-pinion steering. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted Wilwood calipers. The interior features bucket seats finished in black leather. In front of those seats a Cobra-branded dash hangs a clean combination of Smiths and Auto Meter gauges beside a locking glovebox that features a familiar Carroll Shelby signature. Below that dash a polished shifter splits the difference between a polished e-brake and a polished fire extinguisher. A polished steering wheel finished with a leather-wrapped rim and a chrome roll bar behind the driver's head finish off the interior touches. Well-constructed, thrilling to drive, and ready to deliver the ride of your life this Cobra is sure to satisfy anyone who has a pulse.

Since the build was completed in 2006 the Cobra has been driven only 6,435 miles. I have personally put almost 200 miles on it in the past three weeks. During that time, the car was completely reliable, an utter thrill to drive, and had absolutely no issues.

We have this Shelby priced to sell. This is one of the nicest Cobras available on the market for the price and truly an investment grade classic. One could easily buy this car now and sell it for more than the purchase price in years to come as the market on the Superformance cars is hot right now and on the rise. The low original mileage is verified not only by the condition of the car, but also the clear Ohio title, pictured in this ad that shows the model year as a 2006, the make to be Superformance, and showing the mileage as "Actual."

As a side note, this Shelby is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our classics come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the Cobra, just give us a call.

Exterior

The Indigo Blue exterior is in spectacular condition. As one can see in the photos, the paint has a brilliant gloss, deep shine, and smooth finish. Both doors open and shut nicely. We have seen no paint lines, overspray or other signs of paintwork at all. The chrome and other bright-work look excellent with a brilliant finish. The alloy authentic “knock-off” wheels have a great finish and no curb rash. The Yokohama Avid S/T tires have plenty of tread left and are sized 255/60R15 in the front and a massive 295/50R15 in the rear. There are no major imperfections that have been intentionally excluded from the photos.

Detailing is crucial on a replica because that's where a lot of cars start to disappoint. Fortunately, you can tell the overall impression of one of these classics from about five feet away. And naturally, this Cobra hits all the right visuals! At the front of the car, an aggressive nose hangs chrome-trimmed headlights over mesh grilles, tinted, bullet-style parking lamps and polished quick lifts. A small hood anchors a riveted scoop in front of locking latches, polished wipers and tinted visors. Behind that hood, a full canvas top hangs Lexan side windows between a "Superformance" branded windshield, clear wind wings and a polished roll bar. At the sides of the car, coated pipes frame a Monza-style fuel filler and polished heat extractors. And at the back of the car, chrome-trimmed tail lamps combine with a chrome tag light to illuminate a locking trunk handle and two more polished quick lifts.

As the only Shelby licensed replica of the original 1965 Cobra, this roadster's sublime Superformance body utilizes high quality, hand laminated fiberglass to create a rock-solid drop-top that provides a first-rate driving experience. Those stiffly reinforced panels feature the smooth surfaces and typically tight gaps we've come to expect from top tier Cobra replicas. And that excellent fit and finish is a testament to both OEM-quality and a series of talented technicians. And overall, this Shelby's timeless combination of killer style, serious performance and contemporary build techniques creates an irresistible curve carver that'll keep onlookers marveling!

The car comes with a soft top that have never been installed on the car, side windows, and vinyl tonneau cockpit cover, which is shown in the photos.

Interior

The Black Leather interior of the Cobra looks absolutely superb. The seats look just as good in person as they do in the photos with no tears, rips, or split seams. The seat is not overly worn in the typical are on the driver's bolster where the drier gets in and out. All of the gauge faces are crisp and clean and the lenses are crystal clear. The carpet looks terrific with no rips or holes. This car has never been smoked in; there is no aroma of cigarettes what so ever and obviously no burn marks.

Cobra interiors have always been stylish and simple, and one look inside this roadster reveals just how serious the car's aspirations are when it comes to being driver-focused. Buff bucket seats wear tight leather hides. In front of those seats, a Cobra-branded dash hangs a clean combination of Smiths and Auto Meter gauges beside a locking glovebox that features a familiar Carroll Shelby signature. At the sides of that dash, lightweight doors found polished poppers behind simple panels. The trunk is very clean and nicely detailed in black carpet.

The excellent condition of this all original interior is a huge testament to the meticulous care and attention this Shelby has received throughout its life.

Engine & Mechanical

Tilt this roadster's lightweight hood and you'll find a hot Roush Performance 427 R small block that twists a heady 550 horsepower into 535 lb./ft. of tire-killing torque! Built from the ground up as your ticket to major acceleration and insane speed, this stout mill is founded on an iron block, a steel crank, a roller cam, H-beam connecting rods and forged aluminum pistons. At the top of the surly engine, a Roush-branded air cleaner floats a reusable filter element above a coated Proform carburetor. That carb feeds an Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake, which is seated between lightweight aluminum heads. Those CNC-massaged caps hide tough hydraulic roller lifters under a polished, Cobra-branded breather and trick Roush valve covers. Spark is provided by an MSD Blaster 2 coil, which is connected to an MSD distributor and loomed Ford Racing plug wires. Cooling comes courtesy of a shrouded radiator, which fronts dual electric puller fans and a polished expansion tank. Ceramic-coated headers feed the ceramic-coated sidepipes. The dyno-tuned engine features a roster of well designed details, including a polished fuel pump, braided fuel lines and a quality Weiand water pump.

This Cobra appears to be in great mechanical condition. As stated above I have personally put about 200 miles on this car with no issues at all. The 427 Roush engine starts right away every time, idles smooth, and runs great. This Shelby is an exceptional driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. In the video below one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting through all the gears, braking to a stoplight, and going through some curves. Please note that it shifts well, runs great, has no vibrations or strange noises, and the car performs quite nice overall. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. There is no blue smoke when starting or driving the car. It runs cool and does not overheat. The gauge shows that the engine makes great oil pressure. The shifter is tight and precise and does not pop out of gear. The clutch it not too heavy and feels good. Also, the engine bay is clean and very nicely detailed as one can see from the photos.

The horn works as do the headlights, brights, turn signals, wipers, and blower for the fan on all speeds. All of the gauges work. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car, especially with massive power from the 427, the lazer precise handling, and the open roadster feel on a beautiful day.

Overall Condition

Overall, this Superformance Shelby Cobra is in fantastic condition and is a truly and investment grade collector car. This car is a premium example and the Superformance brand is truly the best in the Cobra replicar market. The Indigo Blue with Charcoal Metallic stripes looks beautiful on this AC body style. The market for the Superformance Shelbys is very strong right now, particularly for top examples like this one. This Shelby is a great value and will only appreciate over time. The stunning condition, the color combination, the highly desirable engine and drivetrain combination, and the low mileage make this Shelby particularly important and virtually impossible to duplicate. Someone could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort.
