Seven Hills Motorcars is very proud to offer this beautiful 1996 Corvette Convertible in spectacular condition with only 54,980 miles. The Arctic White (10) over Red Leather (703) with a Bright White (16) convertible top color combination is highly desirable, truly striking, and looks great on this C4 body style. It is also the correct and original color scheme as verified by the codes on the service sticker, which is pictured in this ad.

I have personally driven this car and put about 50 miles on it. During that time it was flawlessly reliable with no issues at all and a true pleasure to drive.

There is also a copy of the AutoCheck report in this ad. The report is totally clean, shows no accident history, and verifies the low mileage.

The car comes with, two sets of keys and the original owners manual. We have this Corvette priced to sell and are offering an excellent opportunity to own a very desirable C4 at an unbeatable value. The 1996 model is the last year for the C4 body style and is considered to be the best year by those in the Corvette community. One could buy this car now and sell it for more than the purchase price in years to come as the market on C4 Corvettes has really turned the corner and started to rise recently. C4 Corvettes have gone from simply being older used to cars to become a collectable classics. This is especially true for special examples, low mileage, original, unmodified, and premium cars like this Corvette.

The very low original mileage is verified not only by the condition of the car, but also the clear Ohio title, that shows the mileage as “Actual.” Please peruse all of the photos, video, list of option codes, and other information to get a true sense of how nice this Corvette really is.

Exterior

The Arctic White exterior is in excellent condition. As one can see in the photos, the finish has dazzling gloss, smooth finish, and deep shine. Both doors open and shut nicely. We have seen no paint lines, overspray or other signs of paintwork at all. The aluminum wheels are in spectacular condition with a brilliant finish and no curb rash. The Continental tires have about 90% tread left and are correctly sized 255/45R17 in the front and 285/40R17 in the rear. The convertible soft-top is in very nice condition with no rips or hole and still has the correct glass rear window. As one can see in the many photos of the underside this C4 is very clean underneath.

Interior

The Red Leather interior of the Corvette is in fantastic condition. The sport seats look great with split seams, rips, or holes. There is just a small amount of standard wear on the bolster where the driver gets in and out, which is very typical on the C4 Corvettes. Please note that these appear to be the original seats and skins, not some cheap aftermarket covers. The gauge faces are clean and crisp and the lenses are clear. The carpet is in also in great condition with no stains or holes. This includes the rear carpet, which is often neglected. The factory radio works and sounds great; most importantly the dash has never been cut or modified for an aftermarket installation. The dash and console are in great shape with no cracks, fading, or sun damage. The jack handle is still with the car, stored under the driver's seat. The original spare is also present and has the nubs on it. This Corvette has never been smoked in; there are no burns marks and no aroma of cigarettes.

Corvette interiors from this era are not known to wear well, especially for a convertible, and the excellent condition of this all-original interior is a huge testament to the meticulous care and attention this Corvette has received throughout its life.

Mechanical

This Corvette seems to be in wonderful mechanical condition. As stated above I just put 50 miles on this car with no problems at all. The engine starts right away every time, runs great, and idles smooth. The car drives magnificently and feels nice on the road and at highway speeds, it drives just as well as you would expect from a well maintained sports car with low mileage. In the video below one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting through all the gears, braking to stoplight, and going through some curves. Please note that there are no strange noises or vibrations and the car performs quite well overall. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. The transmission shifts well throughout the power band. This Corvette has plenty of power and is very fast. Also, the engine compartment is beautifully clean, detailed, and correct as one can see in the photos. The car is completely stock, has no modifications, and it totally unmolested.

Please note in the video the dash warning lights are working; they light up when the key is first turned on and then go off when the engine is started as they should. There are no "check engine" lights that stay on. The horn works as do the fog lights, headlights, brights, turn signals, interior lights, indicators, wipers, power windows, power locks, power antenna, and rear defroster, and blower on all speeds. Even very detailed items like the key buzzer and hood lights still work. The a/c works and blows cold. All of the gauges work. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car, especially with the top down on a beautiful day.

Overall Condition

Overall, this 1996 Corvette Convertible car looks fantastic and is in excellent driver condition. The beautiful original color combination, the excellent condition, and the low original mileage make this C4 especially important and very hard to duplicate. In my opinion and based on our experience the fourth generation C4 Corvettes are rising in value and are becoming classics. This is especially true for premium and low mileage examples like this C4. The value of these cars is going up and they are solid investments for a collector. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort.
