….

Please call Greg directly at 513-200-9226 with any questions about this car.

Seven Hills Motorcars is glad to offer this very low original mileage 1981 Z28 Camaro in excellent condition with T-Tops. This Z28 looks amazing and has only 38,375 original miles. The car has great lines; one can even see how clean the car is underneath in the photos in this ad of the car on a lift. This Z28 is finished in the beautiful and highly desirable color combinations of White (15) over Blue Vinyl (26R). This is the correct and original color scheme as verified by the codes on the trim tag. Additionally, the 1980 and 1981 Camaros are the most sought-after of the late second-generation body style. This is an excellent opportunity to own a classic Camaro that is ready to be used and enjoyed at an unbeatable value. One could easily buy this car now and sell it for more than the purchase price in years to come as these F-Body's are appreciating fast and the market on them is red hot right now.

Besides the correct paint and trim codes this Z28 Camaro is completely "Numbers Matching" with the proper part numbers and appropriate date codes on the major components. We have run the numbers on hundreds of Camaros, Trans Am's, and Corvettes over the years and there are very few that are so correct and original. The last six digits of the VIN are stamped on the engine pad, which is pictured in this ad, and the engine is original to the car. The transmission is also original with the last six digits of the VIN stamped on the main case and pictured.

The very low original mileage is verified not only by the condition of the car, but also the clear Ohio title that states the mileage as "Actual." Please peruse all of the photos, numbers, video, and information in this ad to get a true sense of clean, nice, and original this Z28 really is.

As a side note, this Z28 Camaro is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our classics come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the Camaro, just give us a call.

Exterior

The White (11) exterior is in fantastic driver condition. As one can see in the photos, the paint has an awesome gloss, dazzling shine, and smooth finish. The trim and decals are in amazing condition with no fading or peeling. The previous owner said that the car received a very high quality paint job and brand new decals. Often Camaro's will have particularly chipped up front ends; this car does not. The low front spoiler, which is very fragile and prone to damage, is in excellent condition as one can see in the photos. The N90 aluminum wheels are great condition with a nice finish and no major curb rash. The Cooper Cobra tires are almost brand new and are correctly sized 225/70R15. There are no imperfections that were intentionally excluded from the photos. As one can see in the many photos of the underside the bottom of the car is very clean. We have included specific photos of the spring perches, rockers, lower quarter panels, and other areas most prone to rust on a second-generation Camaro to show how nice this car looks.

Window Date Codes

Please note that almost of the glass on this Camaro, both pieces of door glass, the rear window, and even both T-Tops are all date coded and original as each piece predates the car's body build date of the fourth week of May, 1981 (05D). Original glass is a good indication that this car has had no major accident history and never sustained significant damage.

Interior

The Blue (26R) interior of the Z28 is in absolutely outstanding condition. The seats look brand new and just as good in person as they do in the photos with no split seams, rips, virtually and wear. The seats are not overly worn in the typical area on the bolster where the driver gets in and out. The gauge faces are clean and crisp and the gauge lenses are clear. The carpet looks like new and also in great condition with no stains, rips, or holes. This includes the rear carpet, which is often neglected. The door panels themselves are in good condition overall and fit well to the doors. The door pulls are solid and intact. The dash looks great with no splits, sun fading, or cracks. The package tray is not warped. Please note that both front seat belts work and retract properly. This is a common problem on this era Camaro and an issue many buyers do not think to check. The car has not been smoked in, there are no burn marks and no aroma of cigarettes. The truck is very clean, solid, nicely detailed, and complete with the spare tire, jack, jack handle, and jack base.

Camaro interiors from this era are not known to wear well and the excellent condition of this interior is a huge testament to the care this car has received throughout it's life and another great verification of the very low original mileage.

Mechanical

This Z28 is in seems to be in very good mechanical condition. The car starts right away every time, runs well, and idles smooth. This Camaro is a nice driver that feels great on the road and at highway speed. In the video below one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting through all the gears, braking to stoplight, and going through some curves. Please note that there are no strange noises or vibrations and the car performs quite well overall. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. The transmission shifts well throughout the power band. This Camaro has plenty of power and is quite fast. Also, the engine compartment is beautifully clean, detailed, correct, and original as one can see in the photos.

The horn works as do the wipers, exterior lights, interior lights, indicators, and dash lights. The hood flap works; even the truck light still works. The blower for the heater and a/c works on all speeds. The a/c itself works and blows cold. One can observe the a/c compressor clicking on and engaging properly in the video. The car now has a true dual exhaust system with no catalytic converter and a very healthy exhaust note as one can hear in the video. All of the gauges work with the obvious exception of the clock. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car, especially the T-tops out on a beautiful day.

Overall Condition

Overall, this 1981 Z28 Camaro is in excellent condition. The T-Tops, very low mileage, and the beautiful color scheme make this car particularly desirable. Low mileage and original examples of the second-generation Camaros are hard to find and draw a huge premium in the current market. Numbers matching and originality is extremely important in Camaro pricing and as one can see this car is very original and correct. Cars like this are the Barrett Jackson stars of the future.

This Camaro always gets a ton of attention driving down the road. It is very apparent that the vehicle has been well taken care of by its previous owners. The prices of second-generation Camaros have increased drastically over the past years, especially for exceptional and premium examples like this car. They are secure and wise investments for a collector. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort.

Other sellers are not taking the time to show the car is in such great detail with so many photos and a video as well as giving you all of the other numbers. As stated above, numbers matching is extremely important in Chevrolet pricing and will become even more important as time passes and this car becomes older and even more rare. This information is very valuable and important for pricing. Any perspective buyer, for any of our vehicles or from other sellers, should ask for all the numbers and information before he or she makes a purchase.

Thank you for looking and please do not hesitate to email or call with any questions.
