I have personally driven this Seville over 40 miles. During that time that car was completely reliable, has no issues, and was a true pleasure to drive.

Exterior

The Black exterior is in excellent driver condition. As one can see in the photos, the finish has dazzling gloss, deep shine, and smooth finish. All four doors open and shut nicely. The wire wheel and center caps are in beautiful condition with a nice finish and no curb rash. The Vogue whitewall tires really compliment the look of this car and have plenty of tread left. The chrome looks nice with a nice finish and no corrosion. The vinyl top looks beautiful with no splits or damage. There are no major imperfections that have been intentionally excluded from the photos. There are some very small blemishes and water spots around the car that were too tiny to show up in pictures, but nothing that is really noticeable from about five or ten feet away. The underside of the Seville is exceptionally clean. This Cadillac has absolutely NO RUST ISSUES. The frame is totally solid. We have included many photos of the underside. We have also included photos of the rockers, lower front and rear quarter panels, and the other areas most prone to rust to show how clean this Cadillac is.

Interior

The Black Leather interior of the Seville is in outstanding condition. The seats are in excellent shape and look just in person as they do in the photos with no split seams, tears, or excessive wear. Please note that these are the original seats, not some cheap aftermarket covers or replacements. The carpet is also in great condition with no stains, rips, or holes. The car also comes with the original Cadillac fitted floor mats. The carpet on the door panels is in good shape and not faded. All of the carpet in the car is also original. The gauge faces are clean and crisp and the gauge lenses are crystal clear. All of the woodgrain inside looks great with no delamination. The door panels are in excellent condition, fit well to the doors, and the door pulls are in tact. The dash looks awesome with no splits, sun fading, or cracks. The original radio works well, sounds clear, and gets good reception. Most importantly the dash has never been cut or modified for an aftermarket installation. There is some sagging in the headliner. The jack and jack handle are still present and stowed correctly in the trunk. This Cadillac has never been smoked in, there are no burns marks and no aroma of cigarettes at all. GM interiors from this era are not known to wear well and the spectacular condition of this original interior is a huge testament to the meticulous care and attention this car has received throughout it's life.

Mechanical

This Cadillac appears to be in very nice mechanical condition. The engine starts right away every time and runs well. It is a great driver that floats down the road. In the video below one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting through all the gears, braking to a stoplight, and going through some curves. Please note that it runs great, there are no strange noises or vibrations, and the car performs quite well overall. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. The brakes were recently serviced by the previous owner. There is no blue smoke when starting or driving the car. It runs cool and does not overheat. Also, the engine bay is clean, nicely detailed, and correct as one can see from the photos.
Please note in the video that the warning lights work properly. They light up when the key is first turned on and then go off when the engine is started. There are no "check engine" or other warning lights that stay on. All of the gauges work as do all the exterior lights, interior lights, wipers, horn, power locks, all the power windows, both power mirrors in all directions, and the power seat in all directions. Even detailed items light the outside key lock light work. All of the digital controls for the heater and a/c still work. The blower for the heater and air conditioning works on all speeds. Also, the a/c works and blows cold. This Cadillac is smooth and has plenty of power with the V8 engine. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car.

When viewing the video one many notice the lights and gauges in the instrument cluster flickering. The flickering is only in the video and there is no flickering in person. The flickering is simply a result of the frame rate of the video camera. The digital dash works properly and looks completely normal in person.

Overall Condition

Overall, this 1985 Cadillac Seville is in wonderful driver condition. The excellent original condition, the very low original mileage, and beautiful and highly desirable color combination make this Cadillac especially important and difficult to duplicate. This car always gets a ton of attention driving down the road. We did not receive a hub cap key with the car. The classic Sevilles are becoming highly collectible and the market on them is on the rise. They are secure and wise investments for a collector. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort
