This particular GTO is extremely desirable as it is final and best year for the 5th generation and finished in one of the most sought-after color combinations. This GTO is blisteringly fast with 400 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque from the LS2. I have personally driven the car over 130 miles. During that time that it was completely reliable, has no issues, and was a true pleasure to drive.

We purchased this car from a gentleman who bought it 2007 when it had only 5,649 miles. The previous owner was meticulous about this GTO, which is evidenced in the cleanliness and condition of this car. The car comes with all the original owner's manual and both key remotes, which both work.

This GTO is finished in the beautiful and highly desirable color combination of Quicksilver Metallic (13/470G) over Black Leather (812) interior. This is also the correct and original color scheme as verified by the codes on the data sticker and the ID plate on the core support, both pictured in this ad. The low original mileage is verified not only by the condition of the car, but also the clear Ohio title pictured in this ad showing the mileage as "Actual."

Exterior

The Quicksilver Metallic (13) exterior is in spectacular condition. As one can see in the photos, the paint has an excellent gloss, deep shine, and smooth glass-like finish. We have seen no paint lines, overspray or other signs of paintwork at all. Also, this car has never been in any type of accident. The AutoCheck report also shows no accident history, which was confirmed by the previous owner as well. The original 17" x 8" GTO wheels have a brilliant finish. The BF Goodrich G-Force Super Sport tires have about 90% tread left and are correctly sized 245/45R17. The original tires were replaced simply due to age and for safety, not for wear. Both bumpers are in very nice shape with no spider-webbing or flaking paint. There are no major imperfections that have been intentionally excluded from the photos. There may be some tiny rocks chips or other minute imperfections that were too faint to show up in the photos, but nothing that would be noticeable from a couple feet away. As one would expect from a vehicle with such low mileage the underside is also very clean with no rust as one can see in the many photos of the bottom of the car.

This GTO looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.

Interior

The Black Leather (812) interior in this Pontiac looks outstanding. The seats front and rear look just as great in person as they do in the photos with no tears, rips, or split seams. The carpet also looks like new with no stains, tears, or holes. The gauge faces are crisp and clean and the lenses are crystal clear. The dash and console are in great shape with no cracks, fading, or sun damage. The door panels look excellent and the driver's side is not work in the typical area where the driver's elbow sits. The trunk is very clean and totally complete with the space saver spare and jack, both of which have never been used. This car has never been smoked in; there are no burn marks and no aroma of cigarettes what-so-ever.

GM interiors from this era are not known to wear well and the spectacular condition of this all original interior is at testament to the meticulous care and attention this car has received throughout its life.

The interior looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.

Mechanical

This Pontiac GTO is in excellent mechanical condition. As stated above I have recently put over 130 miles on this car with no problems at all. It is an amazing driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds and is incredibly fast. It runs and drives just like you would expect from a vehicle with only 22,865 miles that is like new. The car starts right away every time, idles smooth, and runs well. In the video in this ad one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting through all the gears, braking to stoplight, and going through some curves. Please note that there are no strange noises or vibrations and the GTO performs quite well overall. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It runs cool and does not overheat. The car has a short throw shifter that feels spectacular. The shifter is tight, does not pop out of gear, and the clutch feels great. Also, the engine is beautifully clean, detailed, and correct as one can see from the photos.

Everything on this car works properly and it is ready to be driven and enjoyed. The horn works as do the indicators, exterior lights, interior lights, wipers, cruise control, power seats in all directions, power mirrors in all direction, and blower for the heater and a/c on all speeds. The a/c works and blows cold. All of the gauges work. Please note in the video that all of the warning lights work properly. They light up when the key is first turned on and then go off when the engine is started. There are no "check engine" or other warning lights that stay on. This GTO has a ton of power and handles like it is on rails. It has a couple very tasteful upgrades including a cold air intake and Flowmater mufflers. The car has a very healthy exhaust note so please take a moment to listen to the exhaust in the video as it sounds absolutely awesome. I cannot tell you how many compliments I received about the sound of this car while I was driving it around. The original catalytic converters are still in place so passing emissions should not be an issue. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this Pontiac, especially with 6-Speed manual transmission.

This GTO runs and drives as well as it looks.

Overall Condition

Overall, this 2006 Pontiac GTO is in excellent condition and a great value at our asking price. The very low miles, the 6-speed manual transmission, the excellent color combination, and the overall fantastic condition of the car make it very desirable and difficult to duplicate. The market on for the fifth generation GTO is very strong right now, particularly for the final model year 2006. It is especially strong for correct, original, and ultra low mileage examples like this car. This car turns heads and gets tons of attention wherever it goes. Cars like this are the Barrett Jackson stars of the future. Someone could easily enjoy this GTO for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price in the years to come with minimal effort.
