Seven Hills Motorcars is very proud to offer this absolutely spectacular 1958 Jaguar XK150 Fixed-head Coupe. This XK150 was recently treated to an extremely high quality restoration. The car has a stunning British Racing Green paintjob, brilliantly refinished chrome, and a beautiful tan interior. It looks beautiful, runs great, and is a pleasure to drive.

A Jaguar Production Record Trace Certificate from the Jaguar Heritage Trust is included with the car and pictured in this ad for any prospective buyer to review. Please note that this Jaguar is "numbers matching,” the engine number listed on the Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, V 2299-8, is also stamped on the engine block and pictured in this ad. The previous owner said that the restoration was completed in 2019. He also said that when he purchased the car the engine and transmission were still in the crates from being rebuilt.

This is an excellent opportunity to own a very rare and highly desirable classic Jaguar. According to the Jaguar Heritage Trust only 981 LHD XK150 Fixed-head Coupes were made for 1958. The market on Jaguar XK's is very hot right now, especially for premium examples like this car. One could easily buy this car now and sell it for more than the purchase price in years to come. There is no way someone could purchase a similar Jaguar and restore it to this level of quality for anything near our asking price. Please peruse all of the photos, video, and other information below to get a true sense of how exceptionally nice this Jaguar really is.

As a side note, this XK150 is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our Classics come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the Jaguar, just give us a call.

Exterior

The Green exterior is in beautiful condition. As one can see in the photos the finish has dazzling gloss, deep shine, and smooth finish. The chrome wire wheels and spinners are in excellent condition with a great finish and no curb rash. The Firestone Gum Dipped wide whitewall tires have been used less than 50 miles and still have the nubs on them. The chrome looks amazing with a bright and brilliant finish. There are no major blemishes that have been intentionally excluded from the photos. There are a few very spots that were too faint to show up in the pictures, but nothing that is really noticeable from about five feet away. As one can see in the many photos of the underside, this Jaguar is totally solid with absolutely no rust; the bottom of the car is exceptionally clean and almost as nice as the topside.

Interior

The tan interior of the Jaguar looks utterly splendid. The quality of the workmanship and materials is top-notch. The gauge faces are crisp and clean and the lenses are crystal clear. The seats are in excellent condition with no split seams, rips, or excessive wear. The carpet is also in great condition with no major stains, rips, or holes. The interior chrome and bright work are in wonderful shape with a superb finish. The dash is in terrific condition with no cracks, fading, or sun damage. The door panels look excellent. The headliner is not stained or sagging. This car has not been smoked in; there are obviously no burn marks or aroma of cigarettes what-so-ever.

The trunk is very clean, highly detailed, and well-trimmed with a matching full size spare Firestone whitewall tire and matching chrome wire wheel rim.

Mechanical

This Jaguar XK150 seems to be in good mechanical condition. The numbers matching 3.4 litre inline six engine starts every time, runs well, and idles smooth. The car drives nicely on the road and at highway speeds. In the video below one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, braking to a stoplight, and going through some curves. Please note that there are no vibrations and the car performs quite well overall. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. The transmission shifts well, the shifter is tight, and does not pop out of gear. The clutch feels good. The horn works as do all the exterior lights, interior lights, dash lights, indicators, and blower. There is a noise when braking at slow speeds that can be heard in the video. The transmission shifts smoothly when shifting slowly, but will grind if you shift too quickly. Also, the engine compartment is beautifully clean, detailed, and correct as one can see in the photos. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this Jaguar.

Overall Condition

Overall, this 1958 Jaguar XK150 Fixed-head Coupe is in marvelous condition. This is truly an investment grade classic. As stated above, there is absolutely no way someone could restore a Jaguar to anywhere near this level for any amount near our asking price.

The excellent restoration, the great attention to detail, and the beautiful color combination make this car especially important and difficult to duplicate. This Jaguar always gets a ton of attention driving down the road. It is very apparent that the vehicle has been well taken care of by its previous owners. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort.

Thank you for looking and please email or call with any questions.
