Exterior

The Alpine White exterior is in excellent condition. As one can see in the photos, the finish has dazzling gloss, smooth finish, and deep shine. Both doors open and shut nicely. The car exhibits great body panel fit overall. The original 18” alloy wheels are in great condition with a brilliant finish. The Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires are in great shape and are correctly sized for the car. There are no major imperfections that have been excluded from the photos. This Mercedes has always been stored indoors and the underside is also very clean.

The car looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.

Interior

The Dakota Black/Red Leather interior of the 428 is in fantastic condition. The gauge faces are clean and crisp and the lenses are crystal clear. The seats look just as good in person as they do in the photos. The carpet is also in great condition with no rips, holes, or stains. The dash and console are in great shape with no cracks, fading, or sun damage. The plastics/brightworks look excellent. This Bmw has never been smoked in; there are no burn marks, no aroma of cigarettes, and the cigarette lighter has never been used.

Bmw leather interiors are not known to wear well and the excellent condition of this interior is a huge testament to the meticulous care and attention this 4 Series has received throughout its life.

The interior looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.

Mechanical

This 428i is in wonderful mechanical condition. The 2.0L turbo engine starts right away every time and runs great. The car drives magnificently and feels great on the road and at highway speeds, it drives just as well as you would expect from a well-maintained grand tourer with low mileage. This BMW was built for the Autobahn and could cruise all day at speeds over 100mph with incredibly smooth power delivery and comfort. In the video below one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting through all the gears, braking to stoplight, and going through some curves. Please note that there are no strange noises or vibrations and the car performs quite well overall. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. The transmission shifts well throughout the power band. The car runs cool and does not overheat. Also, the engine compartment is beautifully clean, detailed, and correct as one can see in the photos. The car is completely stock, has no modifications, and is totally unmolested.

Please note in the video that all of the warning lights work properly. They light up when the key is first turned on and then go off when the engine is started. There are no "check engine" or other warning lights that stay on. The radio/I-Drive works as do the exterior lights, interior lights, dash lights, seat heaters, horn, wipers, and indicators. The Convertible top works as it should and can be seen going up and down in the video. The blower for the heater and a/c works on all speeds. The a/c itself works and blows ice cold. All of the gauges work. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car.

The car runs and drives as well as it looks.

Overall Condition

Overall, this 2015 BMW 428i looks fantastic and is an awesome car. The beautiful original color combination, excellent condition, and the very low original mileage make this 4 Series especially important and very hard to duplicate. The BMW has been an iconic model for decades and this 428 is truly a premium example. The value of these cars is going up and they are solid investments for a collector. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort.
