This GT is blisteringly fast with 550 hp from 5.4L Supercharged V8. I have personally driven the car about 50 miles. During that time it was completely reliable, had no issues, and was a true pleasure to drive.

This GT is finished in the beautiful and highly desirable color combination of Mark IV Red w/ White Stripes over Ebony Leather interior. This is also the correct and original color scheme as verified by the codes on the window sticker, pictured in this ad. The low original mileage is verified not only by the condition of the car, but also the clear Ohio title pictured in this ad showing the mileage as "Actual."

Exterior

The Mark IV Red exterior is in spectacular condition. As one can see in the photos, the paint has an excellent gloss, deep shine, and smooth glass-like finish. We have seen no paint lines, overspray or other signs of paintwork at all. Also, this car has never been in any type of accident. The AutoCheck report also shows no accident history, which was confirmed by the previous owner as well. The original lightweight forged aluminum wheels have a brilliant finish. The GoodYear Eagle F1 tires have plenty of tread left and are correctly sized 235/45R18 Front w/ 315/40R19 Rear. There are no major imperfections that have been intentionally excluded from the photos. There may be some tiny rocks chips or other minute imperfections that were too faint to show up in the photos, but nothing that would be noticeable from a couple feet away. As one would expect from a vehicle with such low mileage the underside is also very clean with no rust as one can see in the many photos of the bottom of the car.

This GT looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.

Interior

The Ebony Leather interior in this GT looks great. The seats look just as great in person as they do in the photos with no tears, rips, or split seams. The floor mats also look great with no wear etc. The gauge faces are crisp and clean and the lenses are crystal clear. The dash and console are in good shape with no cracks, fading, or sun damage. The door panels look excellent. The car does have the slight odor of cigarettes. The front trunk is clean and totally complete with the tire inflator kit.

1st Gen Ford GT interiors from this era are not known to wear well and the spectacular condition of this all original interior is a testament to the meticulous care and attention this car has received throughout its life.

The interior looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.

Mechanical

This Ford GT is in excellent mechanical condition. As stated above I have recently put over 50 miles on this car with no problems at all. It is an amazing driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds and is incredibly fast. It runs and drives just like you would expect from a vehicle with only 8,884 miles that is like new. The car starts right away every time, idles smooth, and runs well. In the video in this ad one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting through all the gears, braking to stoplight, and going through some curves. Please note that there are no strange noises or vibrations and the GT performs quite well overall. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It runs cool and does not overheat. The shifter is tight, does not pop out of gear, and the clutch feels great. Also, the engine is beautifully clean, detailed, and correct as one can see from the photos.

Everything on this car works properly and it is ready to be driven and enjoyed. The horn works as do the indicators, exterior lights, interior lights, wipers, power mirrors in all directions, and blower for the heater and a/c on all speeds. The a/c works and blows cold. All of the gauges work. Please note in the video that all of the warning lights work properly. They light up when the key is first turned on and then go off when the engine is started. There are no "check engine" or other warning lights that stay on. This GT has a ton of power and handles like it is on rails. The car has a very healthy exhaust note so please take a moment to listen to the exhaust in the video as it sounds absolutely awesome. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this GT, especially with the 6-Speed manual transmission.

This GT runs and drives as well as it looks.

Overall Condition

Overall, this 2005 Ford GT is in excellent condition and a great value at our asking price. The very low miles, the 6-speed manual transmission, the excellent color combination, and the overall fantastic condition of the car make it very desirable and difficult to duplicate. The market for the first generation GT is very strong right now. This car turns heads and gets endless amounts of attention wherever it goes. Cars like this are the Barrett Jackson stars of the future. Someone could easily enjoy this GT for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price in the years to come with minimal effort.
