Low Miles, EXCELLENT CONDITION, Both Tops, Auto, White/Black, PRICED TO SELL!!

….

Please call Matt directly at 513-708-1468 with any questions about this car.

Seven Hills Motorcars is very proud to offer this beautiful 1967 Mercedes 250SL with only 89,780 original miles. This Pagoda Mercedes looks fantastic, runs great, and is a pleasure to drive. It is finished in the gorgeous color combination of White over Black leather interior. The car comes with both the soft-top and auxiliary hardtop. The low mileage is verified not only by the condition of the car, but also the clear Ohio title that shows the mileage as “Actual.”
The car comes with the original owner's manual, Becker radio booklets, service booklet, and dealership directory, which are all pictured in this ad.
According to the previous owner this Mercedes sat in a garage for a number of years. He purchased the car earlier this year and performed an extensive mechanical service on the car for the items you would expect for a vehicle that has been sitting. He also had the car repainted.
This is an excellent opportunity to own a very rare and highly desirable classic Pagoda Mercedes. The market on Mercedes 250SL's is very hot right now, especially for nice examples like this car. One could easily buy this car now and sell it for more than the purchase price in years to come. There is no way someone could purchase a similar Mercedes and restore it to this level of quality for anything near our asking price. Please peruse all of the photos, video, and other information below to get a true sense of how exceptionally nice this Mercedes really is.

As a side note, this 250SL is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our Classics come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the Mercedes, just give us a call.

Exterior

The White exterior is in very nice driver quality condition. As one can see in the photos the finish has dazzling gloss and nice shine. The chrome bumpers looks stunning with a bright and brilliant finish. The wheels and hubcaps are in great condition with no major curb rash. The tires appear to almost brand new with plenty of tread left and are sized 195/75R14. There are no major blemishes that have been intentionally excluded from the photos, there may be a few tiny imperfections and hazy spots that were too small to show up in the photos, but nothing that is noticeable from about five feet away. As stated above, that car was just repainted and would look even slicker with a little wet sanding and buffing. The car has had some rust repair in the rockers. The convertible top looks wonderful. There are no holes, frayed edges, and the rear window is clean with no scratches or yellowing.

Interior

The black leather interior of the Mercedes is in great condition. The gauge faces are crisp and clean. The chrome and other brightwork inside the car also looks excellent. The dash is in wonderful condition with no cracks, fading, or sun damage. The seats look just as nice in person as they do in the photos with no split seams, rips, or holes. The seat is not overly worn in the typical spot on the bolster where the driver gets in and out. The carpet appears to be original and is also in good condition, it is a bit faded, but has no with no major stains, rips, or holes. The door panels look excellent. This car has not been smoked in; there are no burn marks or aroma of cigarettes what-so-ever.

The trunk is very clean, highly detailed, and well-trimmed with a full size spare tire and jack.

Mechanical

This Mercedes 250SL seems to be in good mechanical condition. As stated above, the car was just recently serviced. The inline six engine starts every time, runs well, and idles smooth. The car drives nicely on the road and at highway speeds. In the video below one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 50mph, braking to a stoplight, and going through some curves. Please note that there are no vibrations and the car performs quite well overall. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. The transmission shifts well throughout the power band. The gauges show that engine makes great oil pressure and does not overheat.
The horn works as do the exterior lights, dash lights, indicators, and blower for the air conditioning. The a/c itself seems to work also, the compress clicks on and engages properly, but it is hard to tell how cold it is with the current outside temperatures. All of the gauges work with the exception of the clock. We cannot get the blower for the heater to turn on. The wipers work, but the blades contact each other so they may need to be adjusted. This car has been used sparingly since it was serviced so there may be some other bugs to be worked out if the car is put into regular service so we would encourage any perspective buyer to view the car in person if possible. Also, the engine compartment is very correct and clean as one can see in the photos. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this Mercedes, especially with the top down on a nice day.

Overall Condition

Overall, this 1967 Mercedes 250SL is in marvelous driver quality condition. As stated above. The low miles, the options, having both tops, the nice condition, and the beautiful color combination make this car especially important and difficult to duplicate. This Mercedes always gets a ton of attention driving down the road. It is very apparent that the vehicle has been well taken care of by its previous owners. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort.

Thank you for looking and please email or call with any questions.
