Seven Hills Motorcars is tremendously proud to offer this absolutely stunning, low mileage, and numbers matching 1977 Cadillac Eldorado. This Cadillac is in amazing condition with only 28,150 original miles. The car looks beautiful, runs great, and drives awesome. This survivor Cadillac is a time capsule and an investment grade classic. The car has great lines and is totally solid; one can even see how good the car is underneath in the many photos of the car on a lift. This is an excellent opportunity to own an exceptional Eldorado that is ready to be used and enjoyed at an unbeatable value.
We have driven this Eldorado about 50 miles since we purchased it. During that time, it was completely reliable, had no problems, and was a true pleasure to drive.
This Cadillac is finished in the beautiful, highly desirable, and iconic color combination of Maderia Maroon (79) over Claret Edinburgh Cloth & Antique Coated Fabric (79B) with a matching vinyl top. This is the factory original color scheme as verified by the codes on the trim tag, which is pictured in this ad. This Cadillac has a build date of “10B,” which means it was produced during the second week of October in 1976. The low original mileage is verified not only by the condition of the car, but also the clear Ohio title, pictured in this ad, that states the mileage as "Actual." Please peruse all of the photos, numbers, video, and information in this ad to get a true sense of clean, nice, and original this Cadillac really is.
Besides the correct paint and trim codes this Eldorado is “numbers matching,” meaning the engine and transmission in the car are the correct and original unit that was installed in the factory in 1976. The last six digits of the VIN, 131448, are stamped on the engine block and pictured in this ad meaning it is original to the car. The last six digits of the VIN are stamped on the transmission main case and pictured so the transmission is also original.
Throughout the entire Cadillac market right now, this is one of the nicest, best, and most original front wheel drive Eldorado's available. There is no way this car could be duplicated or restored with this level of quality for anything near our asking price. This Cadillac looks great, runs awesome, and is particularly fun to cruise around in. This is an excellent opportunity to own a classic Cadillac that is ready to be used and enjoyed at an unbeatable value. One could easily buy this car now and sell it for more than the purchase price in years to come as these classic Cadillacs are appreciating fast and the market on them is red hot right now. It would be very hard to find another 1977 Cadillac Eldorado in this amazing color combination, let alone one with such low original mileage, in such excellent condition.
As a side note, this Cadillac is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our classics come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the Cadillac, just give us a call.
Exterior
The Maderia Maroon (79) exterior is in excellent condition. As one can see in the photos, the finish has dazzling gloss, smooth finish, and deep shine. Both of the massive and heavy doors open and shut nicely. The chrome and other bright work is in great condition with a brilliant finish and no pitting. The vinyl top looks very nice with no rips or cracks. The original hubcaps are in great condition with a nice finish and no curb rash. The whitewall tires have plenty of tread left and are correctly sized 235/75R15. There are no major blemishes that have been intentionally excluded from the photos. There is a small spot behind the right rear tire, some touch ups, and some other tiny imperfections that were too small to show in the photos, but nothing that is really noticeable from about five feet away. As one can see in the many photos of the underside of the car it is totally solid underneath. The floor pans are solid and all of the body panels and sheet metal are original. We have included specific photos of the lower quarter panels, rockers, frame, spring perches, and other areas most prone to rust on this generation Cadillac to show how clean this car is.
Window Date Codes
Please note that ALL of the glass on this Cadillac is date coded and original as every price predates the car's body build date of the second week of October, 1976 (10B). Original glass is an excellent indication that this car has had no major accident history and never sustained significant damage.
Windshield - AC - "A" is September and "C" is 1976 so this window is original, made in September of 1976. This is correct as it predates the build date of the car.
Driver's Window - TC - "T" is August and "C" is 1976 so this window is original, made in August of 1976. This is correct as it predates the build date of the car.
Driver's Rear Window - IC - "I" is June and "C" is 1976 so this window is original, made in June of 1976. This is correct as it predates the build date of the car.
Passenger Window - TC - "T" is August and "C" is 1976 so this window is original, made in August of 1976. This is correct as it predates the build date of the car.
Passenger Rear Window - IC - "I" is June and "C" is 1976 so this window is original, made in June of 1976. This is correct as it predates the build date of the car.

Interior
The Claret Edinburgh (79B) interior of the Eldorado is in absolutely outstanding condition. The seats are in excellent shape with no excessive wear, holes, or split seams. The seats are not worn in the typical area where the driver gets in and out. Please note that these appear to be the original seats and skins, not some cheap aftermarket covers or replacements. The gauge faces are crisp and clean and the lenses are clear. The car has a modern radio made by Custom Audiosound. Please note that it is a vintage looking modern radio that was made specifically for this car so the dash was not cut or modified for the installation. The stock original radio is included with the sale. The chrome and bright work on the inside of the car also looks wonderful. The carpet is in also in great condition with no stains, rips, or holes. This includes the original floor mats, which are also included with the car. The dash and console are in excellent shape with no cracks, fading, or sun damage. The door panels are in great shape, the arm pad is not cracked on this car in the typical area where the driver's elbow sits, which is very common on this era Cadillac. The cruise control switch lights up, but the cruse does not work. We are not sure if the temperature control wheel works on heat. Please note that both seat belts work and retract properly. This is a common problem and an issue many buyers do not think to check. This car has never been smoked in; there are no burns marks and no aroma of cigarettes at all. This is one of the best original interiors we have ever seen in person in a classic Cadillac and is a true study of how these cars looked from the factory.
The truck is also very clean, original, correct, and nicely detailed. The original cardboard liners are still in place and in great shape. The cardboard is very fragile and it is very rare to see them still in place. Even the original cardboard speaker covers are included with the sale. The remote truck release in the glove box clicks, but does not open the trunk. The truck is complete with the space saver spare, inflator bottle, jack, jack base, and original decal on the trunk lid. The original wood wedge is also in the trunk and still with the car.
Cadillac interiors from this era are not known to wear well, and the excellent condition of this original interior is a huge testament to the meticulous care and attention this car has received throughout its life and another great verification of the very low original mileage. The interior looks just as fantastic in person as it does in the photos.
Mechanical
This Cadillac Eldorado is in excellent mechanical condition and it is ready to be enjoyed. As stated above we have driven this Eldorado about 50 miles with no problems. The numbers matching 425ci engine starts right away every time, runs well, and idles smooth. The car is an exceptional driver that feels great on the road and floats down the highway. In the video below one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting through all the gears, braking to stoplight, and going through some curves. Please note that there are no strange noises or vibrations and the car performs quite well overall. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. The original numbers matching transmission shifts well throughout the power band. There is no blue smoke when starting or driving the car. It runs cool and does not overheat. Also, the engine compartment is clean, beautifully detailed, and correct as one can see in the photos.
The horn works as do all the exterior lights, interior lights, wipers, power windows, and both power seats in all six directions. All six of the indicators on top of both front fenders work. Even very detailed items that most buyers do not think to check work such as the trunk light and the automatic release for the seat backs when the door is opened. The blower for the heater and a/c works, but only blows out of the bottom. The air conditioning itself works and blows cold. One can observe the a/c compressor clicking on and engaging properly in the video. All of the gauges work with the obvious exception of the clock. The dash lights do not work. As with many older carbureted cars it is a bit cold blooded; the carb could probably be adjusted as there is a slight hesitation most notable when the car is cold. The power locks work only on the right side. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car.
Overall Condition
Overall, this 1977 Cadillac Eldorado is in amazing condition and truly an investment grade classic. This car is particularly rare and extra desirable with the extraordinary original condition, low mileage, and the beautiful and stunning color combination. Numbers matching and originality are very important in classic Cadillac pricing and as one can see this car is extremely correct. Low mileage and original examples of classic Cadillacs are hard to find and draw a huge premium in the current market. There are photos in this ad of the VIN stamp on the engine block and the VIN stamp on the transmission main case. This Cadillac always gets a ton of attention driving down the road. It is very apparent that the vehicle has been well taken care of by its previous owner. The prices of Cadillac Eldorados have increased dramatically over the past years, especially for premium examples like this car. They are secure and wise investments for a collector. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort.
Other sellers are not taking the time to show the car is in such great detail, to give you all of the numbers, options, photos, and video. As stated above, numbers matching and originality very important in classic car pricing, especially for an exceptional example like this car, and will become even more important as time passes and this car becomes older and even more rare. This information is very valuable and important for pricing. Any perspective buyer, for any of our vehicles or from other sellers, should ask for all the numbers and information before he or she makes a purchase

Please keep in mind the you will not be paying additional tax and you will not be taxed twice. Buyers from those states will simply pay of portion of their sales tax to Ohio and they will then be credited with that amount when they transfer the title in their home state. For all buyers, including residents of Ohio, all other states, and all other countries, we are required to collect necessary paperwork and have the current title transferred in the buyer name and address. This process takes two days at the Ohio BMV and any buyer should expect to receive their title within 30 days of purchase, although it is usually closer to one week to receive the title once we receive the returned paperwork.
