Exterior

The Jet Black exterior is in spectacular condition. As one can see in the photos, the paint has a excellent gloss, deep shine, and smooth finish. We have seen no paint lines, overspray or other signs of paintwork at all. Also, this car has never been in any type of accident, which is confirmed in the AutoCheck and Carfax reports. The power soft-top works flawlessly and is in good condition with no holes and the rear window is not scratched or yellowed.. The chrome wheels are in nice condition with a brilliant finish, minimal pitting, and no curb rash. The tires have plenty of tread left. There are no major imperfections that have been intentionally excluded from the photos. There may be some tiny rock chips or blemishes that were too faint to show up in photos, but nothing that is really noticeable from about five feet away. As one would expect from a vehicle with such low mileage the underside is very clean and this car has absolutely no rust at all. Interior

The Black Leather interior in the Z8 looks fantastic. The seats look just as good in person as they do in the photos with no tears, rips, or excessive wear. The driver's seat is not worn in the typical spot on the bolster of the driver's seat where the driver gets in a and out. The carpet also looks nice with no stains, tears, or holes. The leather on the dash has shrank a bit, which is visible in the photos. There is some separation by the rear window on the soft-top. The door panels look excellent and both door pulls are solid and in tact. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma of cigarettes what so ever. The excellent condition of this original interior is a huge testament to the care and attention this BMW has received throughout its life.

Mechanical

This Z8 Roadster is in fantastic mechanical condition. It is an excellent driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds; it runs and drives just like you would expect from a vehicle with 12,000 miles that is like new. The car starts right away every time and runs well. In the video below one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70 mph, shifting through all the gears, braking to a stoplight, and going through some curves. Please note that there are no strange noises or vibrations and the BMW performs quite well overall. The clutch feels good, the shifter is tight, and does not pop out of gear. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It runs cool and does not overheat. Also, the engine is clean, beautifully detailed, complete, correct, and original as one can see from the photos.
The power convertible top works perfectly as one can see in the video. The horn works as do the indicators, exterior lights, interior lights, wipers, and blower for the heater and a/c on all speeds. The a/c works and blows cold. All of the gauges work. Please note in the video that all of the warning lights work properly. They light up when the key is first turned on and then go off when the engine is started. There are no "check engine" or other warning lights that stay on. The power windows work and operate properly for left and right with the power mirror switch. Both power mirrors and both power seats also work correctly in all directions. This Z8 has lots of power with the and handles great. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this vehicle, especially with the top down on a beautiful day.

Overall Condition

 
Overall, this BMW Z8 Roadster is in excellent condition and a great value at our asking price. The market on the Z8 is very strong right now, especially for correct, original, and low mileage examples like this one. This truck turns heads and gets tons of attention wherever it goes.
