This Mustang looks virtually brand new, runs great, and is an excellent driver. The Torch Red over Black is a beautiful color combination that looks great on the car. It is also the correct and original color scheme as verified by the codes on the door tag and window sticker, which is pictured in this ad. This is an excellent opportunity to own a future classic with very low miles that is ready to be used and enjoyed at an unbeatable value. One could easily buy this car now and sell it for more than the purchase price in years to come as the market on the S197 Shelbys is strong right now and on the rise. The low original mileage is verified not only by the condition of the car, but also the clear Ohio title showing the mileage as "Actual." We have personally driven this car over 500 miles recently. During that time that car was completely reliable, had no issues, and was a true pleasure to drive. There is a copy of the AutoCheck vehicle history report in this ad. The history report is totally clean with no accidents and also verifies the very low original mileage.

The car has some very light tasteful modifications including a smaller super charger pulley for added boost, Flowmaster mufflers, lowering springs, and a tune. There is a dyno sheet included with the car showing it made 545hp and 539 foot pounds of torque at the rear wheels so it is blisteringly fast.

All of the original books, the window sticker, both sets of keys, and original floor mats are still with the car and are included in the sale. The car currently has WeatherTech rubber floor mats. We have all of the original parts not pictured that can be included in the sale also. This includes the original tires if the future owner wants them.

Exterior

The Torch Red exterior is in outstanding condition. As one can see in the photos the finish has a terrific gloss, deep shine, and smooth finish. The front of the car is covered in PPF to help protect the original paint. The moldings/trim throughout are in amazing shape and do not show their age at all. The Stock wheels are in great condition wrapped in brand new Nitto NT555 tires correctly sized 255/45R18 in the front and 285/40R18 in the rear. The original Goodyear tires were replaced due to age/safety, but can be included in the sale. Please note that these are not aftermarket wheels, these are the original OEM wheels. There are no major imperfections that have been intentionally excluded from the photos. This Shelby has no rust issues and is very clean underneath. We have included many photos of the underside to show how nice this Mustang looks.

Interior

The Black interior in this Shelby is in fantastic condition. The seats are in great condition with no holes, rips, or split seams. The seat is not overly worn in the typical spot on the bolster where the driver gets in and out. The back seats have most likely never been used. The carpet is in excellent condition with no holes, tears, or stains. The gauge faces are crisp and clean and the lenses are crystal clear. The door panels are in excellent shape and the door pulls are solid and intact. The dash and console are in great condition with no cracks, fading, or sun damage. This Shelby has never been smoked in; there are no burn marks and no aroma of cigarettes.

The excellent condition of this all original interior is a huge testament to the meticulous care and attention this car has received throughout its life,

Mechanical

This GT500 seems to be in exceptional mechanical condition. Everything on the car works preoperly and it is essentially “turn key” and ready to be enjoyed. As stated abover we have put over 500 miles on the car with absolutely no problems. The car starts right away every time, runs well, and idles smoothly. It drives great and feels nice on the road and at highway speeds. In the video in this ad one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting through all the gears, braking to stoplight, and going through some curves. Please note that there are no vibrations or strange noises and the car performs quite well overall. The brakes do not pull to one side or the other. The shifter feels precise, does not po out of gear, and the clutch feels great. There is no blue smoke when starting or driving the car. The car runs cool and does not overheat. This Shelby is extremely quick. Also, the engine compartment is beautifully clean and detailed as one can see in the photos.

This Shelby has been tastefully modified by its previous owners. The car has had a smaller supercharger pulley installed along with a tune to bump the boost up to around 12psi. The dynojet sheet is pictured above, showing 545whp. The stock rear end was also changed out for a 3.93 gear. BMR lowering springs were installed to lower the car 1.5 inches, along with BMR control arm relocation brackets and Panhard bars. Lastly, Flowmaster mufflers were installed to wake up the exhaust note.

The horn works as do all the exterior lights, interior lights, wipers, power windows, and power locks. All of the gauges work. The blower for the heater and a/c works on all speeds. The a/c also works and blows ice cold. There are no "check engine" or other warning lights that stay on. We don't believe there is anything on this car that doesn't work. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car, especially with the 6 speed manual and massive power.

Overall Condition

Overall, this 2007 Shelby GT500 is in magnificent condition. The low miles, the beautiful original color combination, tasteful upgrades, and the excellent overall condition and color combo make this car especially important and hard to duplicate. This Shelby always gets a ton of attention driving down the road. It is apparent that the vehicle has been well taken care of by its previous owners. The prices of S197 Shelbys have increased considerably over the past several years. They are secure and wise investments for a collector. Cars like this are the Barrett Jackson stars of the future. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort.
